Colorado School Comes Under Fire for Hanging Saudi Flag Higher Than American Flag

An elementary school in Colorado has come under criticism after they lowered the American flag and elevated a Saudi Arabian flag.

The principal at Bauder Elementary School in Fort Collins said they did not mean to disrespect the American flag, according to a report in the Greeley Gazzette.

Dear school Clymers;

I lived in Saudi for six years and expected to see their flag. I wasn't put out not to see an American flag because it was their country. Living back in the USA I only expect to see their flag at the UN, consulates, and embassies. BTW, did you let your students know that where it can be flown in Saudi, the American flag is not very visible as to discourage terrorist attacks. Been that way there for decades.

It seems to me that IF you read the article which most don't here that it was an accident. They put all the flags up from kids from different countries and accidentally raised the Saudi flag to high. They do this daily so it is not like it was done with malice.

The Saudi flag IS the flag of the enemy, Islamic green with the words of shahada and a sword aimed at the infidels’ throat.

BTW, the Saudis go ballistic at Olympic events when their flag is handled like any other nation’s, when in fact they regard it as holy as the Koran itself.
