Check out Labor Secretary Hilda Solis [she of the solicitude for the rights of illegal immigrants at the expense of American workers] on the CBS Early Show this morning. Solis ticks off a list of industries in which the government will make "investments" because "we know" they will be growing in future years. Kinda like the Obama admin "knew" solar energy was the wave of the future when it "invested" about a half-billion in taxpayer dollars in Solyndra, a company that backed by a major Obama fundraiser.
Participating in pure partisan politics, Solis claimed the unemployment rate in Rick Perry's Texas would be incalculably higher were it not for the spending of stimulus money there. Right. That vaunted stimulus that for only $800 billion managed to keep the national unemployment to only 8%. Oh, wait, three years later it's 9.1%. Never mind. View video here.

The Honorary Chairperson of the Democratic Socialists of America, 80-year old Dolores Huerta, is indoctrinating US students, and inciting violence against Americans. Huerta has been tapped by Cong Grijalva (D-Ariz) to praise the virtues of Hugo Chavez and the supposed socialistic "advances" in Venezuela.
Hilda Solis is Obama's appointee to head the US Labor Department. Solis is forcing taxpayers to underwrite advertisements featuring Dolores Huerta that instructs illegal aliens to fight for fair wages.
In this recently uncovered videtaped audio (link below), Huerta is speaking to high school students and praising the virtues of Hugo Chavez and the supposed socialistic "advances" in Venezuela. This revolutionary is using tax dollars to incite violence against Americans by falsely telling students Republicans hate Latinos.

RAZA STUDIES: Anti-Americanism Disguised as Ethnic Studies coming to a school near you.
A state law went into effect in Arizona on January 1, 2011, banning the teaching of ethnic studies in K-12 schools----targeting a controversial Mexican-American Studies program.. It was prompted by an investigation into ethnic studies curriculum by Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne when he was State Supt of Schools.
Known as “raza studies,” which means race studies, the program is championed by the far left organization National Council of La Raza (subsidized with tens of millions of our tax dollars).
NOTE WELL The "raza" course does not simply teach Latino youth about their heritage. The raza textbooks teach that they are mistreated by America.....the course obviously is a training tool to teach latinos to become radical anti-American activists.
Textbooks include “The Pedagogy of the Oppressed” and “Occupied America.” Another text "gloats over the difficulties our country is having at enforcing its immigration laws." Benjamin Franklin is vilified as a racist. White people are referred to as “gringos” and “oppressors” of Latino people. “Privilege” is described as related to a person’s ethnicity.
At a TUSD school board meeting on May 10, one upset mother read excerpts from the textbook An Epic Poem: " My land is lost and stolen, My culture has been raped......we have to destroy capitalism…overthrow a government that has committed abuses….to the bloodsuckers, the parasites, the vampires who are the capitalists of the world: The schools are tools of the power structure that blind and sentence our youth to a life of confusion, and hypocrisy, one that preaches assimilation and practices institutional racism."--SNIP--

REFERENCE Right on the heels of King Obama enacting the Dream Act through administrative fiat, Obama's hand-picked Labor Secy Hilda Solis (a latino reconquista Marxist), this past Monday signed "partnership" agreements with Latin American nations to protect .....what she laughingly described..... as the labor "rights" of legal and illegal migrants working in the US (/snix).
The US now has "partnership agreements" with the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua and Guatemala. Thanks to Solis' illegal meddling, the Immigration and Nationality Act bypasses Congress, and the Labor Dept itself which says the INA only protects "U.S. citizens and aliens authorized to accept employment in the US from discrimination in hiring or discharge."
Solis took it upon herself to amend US law (with Obama cheering in the bgrnd) and congratulated herself in the process, saying at the reconquista signing ceremony, "No matter how you got here or how long you plan to stay, you have certain rights." (Excerpt) Read more at investors.com ...
Earlier news reports say Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru are conspiring to collude with The Anti-Defamation League, The American Civil Liberties Union, the Southern Poverty Law Center and several other civil and immigrant rights groups to infringe on US sovereignty to make our laws as we see fit. The co-conspirators filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Georgia's alien crackdown law..... and and successfully got a US judge to halt the measure pending the outcome of their case.

Aside from the fact that the woman is dumb as a post (one of the things that almost prevented her from being approved), as Labor Secretary, she seems to be straying off into other people’s territory.
But I think it does give us an idea of how concerted is the effort of the Bambi White House to turn the US into another wretched, failed state-run economy.
The incoming Republican president in 2012 should take a page from the Clinton playbook and immediately demand the resignation letters of every single 0bama appointee in the executive department ..... and then accept them.
Winning the election and gaining control of Congress is only one part of the battle. The entire executive department bureaucracy must be completely hosed out and ideologically scrubbed down from the very top to the very bottom. If this is not done , all reforms will either be obstructed, coopted, paralyzed, or neutered by lingering socialist bureaucrats

Hilda has identified a few buggy whip factories to “invest” in. The administration will weatherize the factory first before”investing+ in its production. In Dem circles this is known as double whammy investing (or flushing).
Very good point. One of the problems that Bush had was that he was not ruthless enough in getting rid of the Clinton leftovers, and they did nothing but obstruct him all they could.
Hosing out the commie moles will probably require a broader approach. Those moles with civil service jobs have protections. A better approach would be to entrench a policy of seniority, followed by massive staff cuts(or department elimination with consolidation) that target the new Obama civil servant hires through seniority. The departments desperately needing targeting are Labor, Commerce, Education, Justice, EPA, Energy,Interior. I’m sure that a dedicated conservative president could figure out a way to do much of this through executive order (furloughs?) or with just a little congressional help. If a GOP president doesn’t do this right away early in their administration, the moles will leak to the Leftist media and sabotage all further efforts at reform.
