Sarah Palin said it is important whom Republicans choose to run against President Obama, but didnt directly address whether shell join the 2012 presidential race during her much-anticipated speech before a tea party crowd in Iowa on Saturday.
The former Republican governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee referenced the 2012 election many times throughout her remarks, calling out the permanent political class, crony capitalism and entrenched political interests.

And I see it just the opposite, she is the only one who can beat Obama.

I heard her speak in Columbus a year or two ago. After the speech she was available, and patient, really seemed effortless for her to engage the many who went forward to see her close up, say something, get an autograph, etc. Plus she really seems to enjoy the contact with just us folks.

-"I like Sarah. I will be surprised if she runs." Why would you be surprised if she 'does' run? Just curious.
To: KoRn
Id venture to guess she would be one of the FEW people 0bama could actually win against. No.
That would be the RINO cowboy.

She is beginning to annoy me, also. She will do more good on the sidelines.

"Shes not running. Shes not going to run."
That probably is true, but if she doesn't, the ad hyping her speech today could be seen as somewhat deceptive. It set off a lot of speculation that today would be the day of her announcement.

What does this strategy gain for Sarah ?
Major free publicity.
The MSM HAS to cover her every move.
No other candidate has this capability or advantage.
To: ColdOne
I like Sarah. I will be surprised if she runs. If she weren't running, she would have said so a long time ago.
"Undefeated" is a campaign video.
State-controlled media gets to tell their version of her story.
There is no way in Hell they would ever allow her to give her own version.
So she went around them.

I will not blame her if she does not run. By now the death threats against her and her family have to be thicker than libs in Manhattan.

No other candidate has this capability or advantage. So why the Hell should she give it up until it is to her strategic advantage.
Sarah can visualize the next twelve of her opponents' moves.
She has them checkmated at every turn, and they can't figure out why.
This is exactly the kind of person we need in the White House, not a golfing stealth jihadist.

Sarah Palin is not going to be anyone’s “secretary” of anything!
What arrogance. She would make a good Secretary of Energy.
She isn’t going to be president.

Who exactly do you think would make a better president?
To: hinckley buzzard
I never saw her give a whole speech ever til today. The speech was very good. However watching her traverse the crowd asking folks their name, taking pictures, and even kissing one plus signing a gun holster. She is simply electric I was riveted watching her after the speech. Regardless whether she runs she is going to be a big factor for the rest of the decade. If she would get the nomination I would crawl miles over broken glass to vote for her.

Sorry, the opposite is more than likely true.
She is the only one of the declared candidates and any possible potential candidates who can and will actually win.

She isnt going to be president.
Complete waste of her talents.
None of the other candidates even come close to her leadership abilities.
To: unkus
Yes unkus, it is clear that she is annoying you. Are you a conservative and if so what about her speech today did you not like? You may want to save yourself a lot of grief and tune out of politics for now because she`s going to be around strong for another couple of decades.

I don’t see anyone who would make a better president. If she doesn’t run for president, she would definately make a good Energy Secretary. She’s get us back on track in that field.

She’d better announce very, very soon. I’ll support her all the way if she runs; and if the candidate, I’ll sweat blood for her.
She is annoying me because I want her to say yes or no.

On Sean Hannitys show Palin said this
You know, August and September, you do have to start laying out a plan if you are to be one to throw your hat in the ring, so thats basically the time frame,
Today she laid out a planfor American Restoration.
Looks like shes on-schedule to me...............
