On Thursday's The Ed Show, MSNBC host Ed Schultz excoriated Senator Marco Rubio and other "damn Republicans" because Rubio recently attacked Schultz and fellow MSNBC host Rachel Maddow for comments they made about the Florida Republican. Schultz suggested the Rubio's father might be "ashamed" of him for not accepting the MSNBC host's invitation to come on his show and debate him, claimed that he was "not a true American"

Yeah, right Ed. I doubt Rubio’s father even knows you are. If anything, he probably thinks you’re the dumb as a rock camp guard from “Hogan’s Heroes.”
No, nothing about any new ideas from his side.
Ed who?
If anyone wants to see his incoherent rant, it's online at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/44366837
It was painful to watch. I couldn't make it all the way through.
Listened to Dennis Miller this morning and he played clips of Schultz trashing Al Franken for not coming on his show. Miller’s take anyone who refuses to be interviewed, is trashed till the end of time.
On an average evening....I doubt if there’s more than 150k folks who watch him out of 250 million. Ed is mostly comical and he basically draws a six-minute topic into a thirty-minute topic, which makes his show mostly useless.
not American? Is it because of the color of his skin?
You know, another racist on MSNBC.
IMHO...
I wish Rubio would come out and say that he can never run for President or Vice President because both of his parents were not citizens at the time of his birth.
From what I read, his father lagged in getting his papers processed until after he was born.
From reading Vattel, it is clear that such a situation illustrates exactly where the dividing line is: if both his father and mother pushed as fast as they could and showed every intent on emphatically demonstrating that they were truly placing their entire loyalty in their new country, demonstrating that they had no interest in leaving any potential tie to their former country, they would be seen as first generation loyal citizens of their new country. They and their children would not consider themselves in any way connected to their old country except purely by ancestry. Their newfound loyalty to their new country would be visible in their words and actions. This is the wisdom in Vattel’s view on the matter: their children would not consider themselves beholden in any way to other citizens in their new country who were also from their old country if they were elected to office. They would not consider themselves beholden in any way towards their old country. They would not consider themselves important members of the “old-country-American” community, but simply an American through-and-through.
If Rubio came out with this position and steadfastly held to it, he would be a Constitutional originalist hero for the ages; he would earn his place in history. The most prominent child of immigrants in American history who placed the Constitution higher even than his potential to hold office. He would truly be standing up, causing a public shock wave of great proportions, leading the way towards a general return to the original intent of the Constitution. This would have a profound effect on American government, politics and society in general.
I hope he does this, and truly makes America his country.
Or somthing. :)
“Not a true American” sounds like a veiled insult to Hispanics....
No, Mr. Ed, the reason Rubio won’t go on your show is not because he’s “not a true American.”
It’s because he prefers to be interviewed on shows that have actual viewers.
I can’t for the life of me figure out why ANYONE would watch ANYTHING on the DNC propaganda channel!
Rubio was born May 28, 1971.
His parents (both of them,) didn't Naturalize until November 5, 1975.
If, over a lifetime, you have been fed a collection of lies, any exposure with the truth will appear as abject insanity.
