Fineman: Dems Tell Me Campaign Will Be A "Down And Dirty" Attack
Real Clear Politics ^ | Sept 1, 2011 | Staff

"When I talk to Democrats outside and inside the White House, as I did today. What I heard was a slightly different message," Howard Fineman said on tonight's "Hardball."

Fineman reveals that the Democratic strategy in 2012 for the presidential and Congressional elections will be "down and dirty."

"It's not going to be a 'Morning in America' campaign, it's going to be a darkness at midnight campaign about the Republicans. it's going to be about the fact that the Republicans in Congress pushed Paul Ryan's bill Medicare, about how they pushed Cut, Cap and Balance. It's about how Republicans wanted to dismantle Wall Street reform. It's going to be about how the Republican presidential candidates have embraced the Tea Party."

No surprise here. The Dems doing what the Dems do best. Expect "racism" to be a rallying cry, also.

The public support Cut, Cap and Balance stupid.

Yeah, we’re all aware it’s not Morning in America...we have over 9% unemployment with no end in sight thanks to your policies. Since you can’t run on anything positive of course you’ll be vicious. That’s why I want someone to be nominated that is capable and willing to engage. The last thing we need is another McCain throwing the election.

Sorry, Dems, most Americans are tired of your sh*t. They wont accept excuses anymore.

Furthermore, the hyperbole just makes you look stupid.

Party’s over. Expect 1/2 of black voters to stay home. At least all of my black students are saying that their parents are VERY disappointed in Obama.

They’re going to campaign against Paul Ryan’s bill and Cut, Cap, and Balance? Shhh, don’t do anything to persuade them to do otherwise.

That’s why SP and the positive message will gain traction rapidly- remember Reagan? When faced with evil he responded like a beacon of light.

We can fight dirty, if need be, and must keep close tabs on the enemy, but our message is positive and uplifting for the individual.
