Controversial Documentary on Sarah Palin "THE UNDEFEATED" Released On Demand this Weekend
Digital Journal ^ | September 1, 2011

Santa Monica-ARC Entertainment, the distributor of “The Undefeated,” and Victory Film Group, producers of the film about Gov. Sarah Palin’s rise from obscurity to national prominence, jointly announced that beginning today September 1st, the film is available to 75 million homes via Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View access through national and regional cable and satellite operators.

Taking on the political establishment, The Undefeated chronicles Governor Sarah Palin’s rise from obscurity to become one of America’s new generation of leaders. See for yourself the real story of the woman who is always in the spotlight, but whose story is largely unknown.

This On Demand release coincides with the announced Tea Party rallies in Iowa and New Hampshire over Labor Day weekend.

ARC Entertainment content can be seen on most major cable and satellite companies such as DIRECTV, DISH Network, Comcast, COX, Charter, and Time Warner Cable.

Trevor Drinkwater, CEO of ARC Entertainment, said, “Since the film opened in select markets across the country on July 15th we have been inundated with requests from people wanting the film to be made available in their market. After methodically analyzing the most effective ways to bring this galvanizing film to the widest audience as soon as possible we have determined that Video-on-Demand, Pay-Per-View and DVD sales will be the best modalities by which to deliver this film as widely and as quickly as possible. We have created partnerships with national cable, satellite, and mass retailers to achieve our distribution goals.”

“This title is absolutely perfect for Video-on-Demand and Pay-Per-View backed by a traditional and significant marketing campaign. We are incredibly excited about having this film made available to the entire country earlier than expected,” said Glenn Bracken Evans, the film’s producer. “A traditional windowed release would not have allowed us to maximize viewership of this highly sought after film,” continued Evans.

Filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon stated, “Given the strong audience reaction we have determined there is overwhelming demand for us to get this film out broadly enough to cover the entire nation in September and October. In a 90-day period from September through November we will be able to effectively cover the nation through multiple distribution platforms.”

The Video-on-Demand and Pay-Per-View deals with strategic partners will be backed by a significant marketing campaign to heighten awareness in all markets to the film’s availability.

Written and directed by Stephen K. Bannon and produced by Victory Film Group co-founder Glenn Bracken Evans and Dan Fleuette, “The Undefeated” was independently financed by Victory Film Group and its partners.

The film includes leading prominent political commentators Mark Levin, Tammy Bruce and Andrew Breitbart as well as conservative activists Kate Obenshain, Sonnie Johnson and Jamie Radtke. Additionally, the film features interviews with Alaskan civil servants, elected officials and advisors who were involved in Alaskan politics during Governor Palin’s tenure.

Note: The Undefeated is called SARAH PALIN: UNDEFEATED in most cases. Check with your service provider.

I don’t have Netflix. I have a DVD player in my machine and I play movies on it but that’s not quite the same thing. I watch Hulu movies. I guess that’s closer. I don’t have any problems with XP on Hulu.

Does anyone have definitive, solid information when, and on what media this is going to be released?

When?

Now?
Yesterday?
Today?
Tomorrow?
Next Week?
Next Month?
Next Year?

Hummmmm, a DVD player on your computer..............Think I will ask my genius son about installing one of those for me. I have a problem playing DVDs on my TVs because they are simply too complicated for me to fathom. Age is my excuse.

You’ll have to get software to play it. Some of the software is great and some stupidly complicated. I like it because I can pause it and get up for tea or something else. And I have a large monitor. My eyes aren’t what they used to be. I can play CD’s on it too. I use WinAmp for CD’s.

I’m ging to risk it. At the link below, I found it is %7.99/mo.
http://www.netflix.com/HowItWorks
“How much does it cost?”
“For only $7.99 a month, you get unlimited movies & TV episodes instantly over the Internet to your TV or computer. There are no commercials, and you can pause, rewind, fast forward or rewatch as often as you like. It’s really that easy!”
“Can I cancel any time?”
“Absolutely. You can easily cancel online 24 hours a day. There are no cancellation fees although there are no refunds for partial months.”

Thank you so much. I called myself looking at all the fine print and couldn’t find that. Sometimes I feel so stupid. I called son and he says my computer will handle it. He has upgraded the internals of my puter till it is pretty zippy and powerful. I’m going to see if I can get Netflix.

Bummer. Went to all the trouble of signing up for my free month at Netflix and asked for Sarah Palin - Undefeated and they say it’s unavailable. This after they had it advertised right on their home page when I first went there. So I put the membership on hold.

"Hi, thanks for answering my question. So one can play netflix on their computer. Now another question. Will my XP Windows carry that? I have watched some online movies before, but just wondering if Netflix requires more bells & whistles than I have. I will wait to sign up for my “free” trial until I am sure the movie is available."

Just go sign up on Netflix. You can get unlimited downloads for something like $6/month, and disk rental of one disk is around $7.50/month, and yes, XP will be fine.

Just thought - maybe Netflix will have it after it has a chance on Pay-Per_View & Video-On-Demand for a week or two. That way those venues will have a chance to make some money.

I just watched “The Undefeated” and my heart is still going pitter pat. Sarah Palin is exactly what America needs. I knew it the first time I laid eyes on her. Sarah will muscle through all the establishment RINOs and become our candidate for 2012 against the most incompetent president in our history (with the exception of Mr. Carter). Well...maybe the bid O will end up even worse, God help us. We still have to worry about America and the damage he can still do with his time in office.

You must see this movie...you must share it with everyone you can. I pre-ordered my DVD at WalMart, however, the delivery date is not until October 1st.

I can now watch it over and over every time I see the RINO’s in our party cave to the dems. We must have real cuts out of this budget and the next and the next, not 10 years down the road when the next congress can vote the cuts down. We can still save America...it is not too late, but we must have a leader who is fearless of the establishment in either party. Sarah will take it directly to the people...and then move on to the next problem.

WOW...sorry...but this movie got my blood flowing. EAGLES UP SARAH...YOU ARE QUITE A LADY! I will be proud to work my old butt off for you, as many will here!

They are still saying $7.99 a month. I doubt I would pay any more than that. I have a DVD coming for my $100 donation to SarahPAC. Just wish they had shipped them sooner for that kind of money. I could have saved that $100 for Sarah’s campaign fund.

A few reports on this thread of it already being available tonight on DISH Network, pay per view. A few with Comcast have checked for it, but it’s apparently not showing up yet. Be on the lookout.

I found it on Verizon Fios PPV for $6.99.

I bookmarked it and will watch it this weekend. Looking forward to it.
