A pre-cambrian rabbit could and would be incorporated into evolutionary thought even easier than the lack of transitionals.

What an artful ruse you've concocted for yourself. Not only have you saved yourself the trouble of doing any real work and actually finding the pre-cambrian rabbit first, you've insulated yourself from any of the other multiple falsifications that would disprove evolution. If I had said show me that selection and/or environmental variables don't favor the reproductive success of better adapted specimens, you'd just say, "A specimen better adapted from non-environmental variables would be incorporated into evolutionary thought even easier than the lack of transitionals."

Creationism's survival as a modern day cargo cult/multi-level marketing scheme owes itself to this kind of ingenuity. Who would've thought that repackaging George McCready Price for modern consumption would be so successful in the modern evangelical community? Even the Catholic Church gave up 60 years ago, but here you are in the 21st century regurgitating flood geology talking points.

You earn no points for scientific understanding, but score big for tenacity and creativity.

Wow... I’m seeing “non-falsifiable” all over this argument.

AGW anyone?

On the contrary, the headlines would read something like this.....

Mammal evolution pushed back millions of year, occurred earlier than previously thought.

Rabbit now recognized as a "living fossil"

Darwinists wouldn't let some little glitch like that blow their theory out of the water. They'd find some way to explain it away.

Otherwise, they'd have no explanation left as to how life came to be on this earth that wouldn't bring them face to face with the creator they reject.

They won't let it die because their world view can't afford to let it die.

Don’t kid yourself. Even the Wikipedia listing for the pre-cambrian rabbit incorporates a hedge on Haldane’s bet. And while you continue to make allusions to some sweeping body of testable particulars, you’ve yet to present any beside a quip from a long gone “scientist” who wouldn’t even qualify as a student by modern standards.

I do understand your incentive to declare victory, and “beat feet.” Yours is the inenviable position of trying to keep your theoretical boat afloat no matter the number of holes in it, while mine is simply to legitimately punch those holes. So if it makes you feel better to “throw a flag” instead of playing the game: so be it.

Kinda like the leap from cell doubling to penis/vagina sex: which came first; as the 'record' seems a bit hazy.
