I do hope that at least one channel will totally cover the debate. I would much rather see that.

On the plus side, the ABC radio news blurb on Messiah's 'program' said "...the President urged Congress to pass the plan quickly, which they have not yet seen."

That's awfully un-newspeak straight talk for the MSM.

They are getting sick of it too.

Is Hussein’s teleprompter wanting more air time?

“Just say no.”

The article states that hussein must be asked to speak before a joint session. We’ve waited over a year for him to come up with a plan. I think he can wait until Thursday if Boehner would have the guts to tell him that the debate has been on the schedule before the king’s demand.

Don’t be ridiculous.

“Our guys” must get votes wherever they can, and they must speak to the entire nation, because whoever is elected President must be leader of the country, not just some faction.

Haven’t we learned that?

Yep and that is exactly what Boehner should do.

Once he (zer0) says it (my package) has to be passed quickly, the Republican side should erect a teleprompter and say (while filing out) our teleprompter will get in touch with your teleprompter.

The speaker should offer him 10AM on the 7th or 10AM on the 8th. Not prime time. Otherwise Zero can haul out a cardigan and give it from the oval office.

Boehner should not allow this to happen.

O'reilly helped obama out during the last election with his little interview during the Republican debate.

That's when I stopped watching his show.

obama has a history of this nonsense.

this is a pretty bush-league move to use a phrase, but the good news is that it affects MSNBC and Politico and I could care less about them. The GOP should just take this opportunity to reschedule the event for October and find different moderators.

Or the candidates could sort of copy Rush and air Obama live during their debate and offere a running commentary. That’d be cool.

Why should they cancel a debate just to allow Obama another stump speech. Nahh...it’s obvious what is up. His poll numbers are horrible, two candidates are near him in the polls and .....this is Perry’s first debate. People will be watching this one to see if Perry implodes or not. Barack is afraid of people watching a debate that will feature a candidate that will hammer him and force the other cndidates to hammer him because they are trying to compete with Perry. Before this they took their cue from Romney who’s shots at Obama were....tepid.

If Barack wants to hold a campaign rally let him but Republicans have no business attending it.

Foxnews.com headline: “Obama to GOP: IT’S MY NIGHT”

lol

CNN and MSNBC buried the GOP debate in the last paragraphs of their Obama worship stories.

Here is a 3-step plan to address this head-on.

1. The Republican caucus should refuse to attend.
2. Every GOP candidate should voluntarily sign a pledge in favor of a balance budget constitutional amendment.
3. Debate should be sure to go on as normal.

Any other ideas?

If Boehner does anything other than say, 'Yeah, we're not coming back for a speech. You have fun, though.', he's a fool. There's *nothing* to be gained by doing this. Obama can flap his gums in the Oval Office. He doesn't need a joint session of Congress.

All Obama's going to do is say, "Here's my mega-bill. Don't read it. Just vote on it, right now. Pass it right now, or you hate babies, grandma, kittens, and Jesus."

What would be telling would be if the ratings for the debate beat the ratings for his little speech by millions......that would be sweet.....
