Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a commanding lead in the 2012 GOP presidential race, and that wont likely change if tea party favorite Sarah Palin decides to run, a new CNN/ORC International poll indicates....The polls data show that, for now, Mr. Perry is the clear favorite of tea party supporters. Ms. Palin won support from 10% of voters, leaving her in third place just ahead of Mrs. Bachmann.

She should have jumped in a month ago. Thats assuming, for just a second, that she was seriously planning on running.

Perry polled around 10% everytime he was polled in the mix of candidates until after hew officially got in the race.

Perry’s first selections to the Texas Supreme Court was the appointment of Xavier Rodriguez to succeed Greg Abbott. Rodriguez was a self-proclaimed RINO leftist! Can We Trust Perry With The U.S. Supreme Court?

We’ll take that under advisement.

I know, let’s have something called a primary and see what those poll results are.

What was he? Desi Arnaz' second clarinet? Or Harriet Miers in a sombrero?

Can We Trust Perry With The U.S. Supreme Court? What rulings signed by Judge Rodriguez do you find particularly offensive? Can you name one?
Incidentally, he now sits on the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, appointed by President Bush.

Perry polled around 10% everytime he was polled in the mix of candidates until after hew officially got in the race. Another Red South talking point, and just as wrong as all of the others. First, Perry was polling between 10 and 18 points before getting into the race (check RCP). Second, Perry did not have almost 100% name recognition, nor had he been campaigning almost non-stop since 2008. That honor goes to Sarah of the 10%...
