When Al Megrahi was sent home to Libya after being released from a Scottish prison two years ago on grounds of ill-health, he received a hero's welcome from Col. Muammar al-Gaddafi and many of his countrymen.
But with the Libyan dictator now a fugitive in his own country as rebel troops advance to his last major stronghold of Surt, the convicted terrorist is said to be just days from death.

BS.
Even Gaddafi’s daughter turned up after being “killed”.

Al Megrahi SHOULD have been Al RIGAMORTI a long time ago.

What the hell - it worked once, why not try it again, given that the US has just asked for custody of him.

Why don’t the rebels provide us with the GPS coordinates and we could have a predator drone just help him along.

The rebels have probably told him he has three days left.

translation: we’ve already smuggled him out to Saudi Arabia aboard a tramp steamer; move along, nothing to see here

I’m tired of hearing him attributed as the “Lockerbie Bomber”. He was an agent of the Libyan government- he didn’t act on his own volition. He’s a tool.
The persons that need to be brought to justice are those that called the shots.
As for the flowing oil— the families of the dead need to be paid for their pain and suffering.

Here’s the real story. The moment this muzzie ass-wipe was caught he should have been taken out on a public street and executed. But no, we need to play nice with these mutants.

Pretty stupid of us to ask for custody of him. IMHO

Families were paid...over 2 billion dollars total...about 7 million each..

These miraculous survivals of “near death” experiences are nearly enough to turn one to the Muslim religion. As one who was scheduled on the Sunday flight from Frankfurt to Detroit, I qualify for such a survival. I returned two days early, in order to get a weekend to recover from jet lag.
I vote for a Predator strike, just to make sure.

This guy is always close to death when it comes to demands for him to be turned over to the US. Next week, he'll be DJ of the Libyan All-Night Freedom Rave.
To: BCW
Mmmm. Where have I heard that before?

I’ve never seen a piece stating all of what was promised, was delivered. I know they all agreed on language, but I’m not sure about the actual transfer.
But thanks.
