The Dane County Sheriffs Office has released the results of its investigation into an alleged fight between two state Supreme Court justices. The report includes interviews with several Supreme Court justices and members of court staff regarding the June 13th incident that took place in Justice Ann Walsh Bradleys offices, when Justice David Prosser allegedly putting Bradley in a chokehold.
The confrontation occurred as conservative members of the court were pushing for the release of a controversial ruling that upheld the governors collective bargaining law. Members told investigators they felt the minority in the case was being delayed in order to hold up the release of the decision.
In an interview with investigators, Bradley said Prosser put his hands around her neck when she asked him to leave her office. Bradley claims Prosser was verbally abusing the Chief Justice and she rushed to her defense, getting face-to-face with Prosser.
Prosser admitted to investigators that he placed his hands on Bradleys neck, but said it was only a reflex because the judge charged at him in anger. Bradley told police she did not feel any pain during the incident, but was left emotionally troubled afterward.
Bradley recounted to police how the she asked Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs to meet with all of the justices to discuss workplace safety, and only requested a formal investigation after she felt that meeting did not resolve her concerns.
A special prosecutor determined Thursday that no charges would be filed in connection with the incident.
This appears to be a report that a report was released. Why don’t the publish the actual report.

(sorry, folks, I know I am not from there but you gotta admit this is what flashes in your mind when reading about this)
The report will be out this upcoming week. They’re typing it up right now, LOL!
No, seriously, I’ll post it when its published. So, sit on the edge of your seat until then, OK? Thanks! :)
Oh, you betcha! I LOVE a good Supreme Court Smackdown when it’s the Conservatives winning over the Liberals! Doesn’t happen nearly often enough around here...
I’m looking forward to reading the investigation reports. Bradley and Abrahamson will look like complete idiots and liars.
Not a problem. Ever since republicans have been winning, the democrats and their media enablers have been playing up every disagreement in the courts as the fault of the conservatives on the bench.
Because the actual report exonerates Prosser. By NOT publishing it, the author can repeat the allegations without stating the exoneration.
Thanks Diana
WPR (Wisconsin Public Radio) NPR’s arm in Wisconsin flooded the airways days afterward and of course Prosser stood indicted and convicted on their talk shows and radio newscasts..
WPR has a pretty extensive am/fm/tv station network here in Wisconsin ..Most of the am stations are daylight broadcasting only (dawn to dusk) with fairly hefty am signals reaching all over the state. Those stations are then taken over by NPR at night which broadcasts CPR (Canadian Public Radio) programming.
I’m not sure but I think there is a leasing or rental arrangement and they derive some revenue from it.
But the way the idea started NPR as with TV was to broadcast educational courses on both venues.
Well the unions would have none of that. So whatever educational programming offered is of course propaganda supporting the government. With the exception of some of the sciences ;chemestry, math. and languages which goes on their CPB (corporation for public broadcasting)tv stations. late at night once a week.
CPBTV does run a lot of stuff from the BBC One of the series which really amuses me is the Robin Hood series which has a lead character being moslem frequenly espousing the peace aspect of that religion.
The setting for the Robin Hood saga was during the time of Richard The Lion Hearted who was captured by an Austrian Prince on his way back from the crusades and held for ransom. The result was the signing of the Magna Carta. Its 99% historical revisionism
The state should sell off the system
I live in Racine. I think the childish antics of the Unionistas in WI is reprehensible. Regarding in Supremes incident, remember the left’s playbook. It’s not the facts of the incident - it’s the seriousness of the charge (a la Bork and Thomas, at the national level).
Perhaps we are watching WI turn from blue to red before our very eyes. One can only hope, eh?
We’re getting there! Some of us are working quite hard at it behind the scenes! :)
YEP, THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT FLASHES THROUGH MY MIND.
SO WHERE IS THE 117 PAGE REPORT?

JUSTICE PROSSER CLEARED
Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser released the following statement this morning after the decision by the special prosecutor regarding the reported incident.
Justice Ann Walsh Bradley made the decision to sensationalize an incident that occurred at the Supreme Court. This matter has now been reviewed by Dane County Sheriffs Department detectives, the Dane County District Attorney and an appointed independent special prosecutor. Today, the investigation of the incident has been completed.
I was confident the truth would come out - and it did. I am gratified that the prosecutor founds these scurrilous charges were without merit.
I have always maintained that once the facts of this incident were examined I would be cleared. I look forward to the details of this investigation becoming public record.
Being in public service has been the honor of my life. I cannot express enough thanks for the hundreds of good wishes Ive received from people across the state in the last several weeks.
