not surprised about this coverage. This 24hr ongoing coverage of weather really started a few years ago with the big snowmageddon.
One local reporter looked pissed yesterday when she had to come home early from vacation because of this.

A reporter will have to die on camera by flying debris for this to end.
It is sheer lunacy that reporters go out in those conditions and then tell everyone else not to do the same thing.
Then, the media will wring their hands ask if they are setting the proper example for everyone else. Then, they will not do this anymore.
