I was smoking pot relaxing on a Friday night in 1986 while watching MTV when I heard the opening guitar riff of this song. I sat bolt upright: It was unmistakable Moodies. They had a new album!

After "The Present" in 1983, I was having my doubts about the guys, but this song was a magnificent return to their greatness. I was almost in tears by the end.

I think my favorite Moody Blues song is probably “The Voice” with “Isn’t Life Strange?” running a close second. “The Other Side of Life” is one of mine and hubby’s “our” songs. :)

Also Larue Tactical has a shindig planned in Liberty Hill Tx Nov 12.

They did BBQ and door prizes last year.

"Isn't Life Strange" left me cold. Still does.

"The Voice" is wonderful. One of my favorites.

"The Other Side of Life" is atmospheric and hypnotic.

My own favorite is "I Know You're Out There Somewhere".
