How to make Sarah Palin disappear (Kornacki again!)
Salon's War Room ^ | August 23, 2011 | Steve Kornacki, News Editor

Posted on 08/23/2011 4:40:34 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The safe bet remains that Sarah Palin is simply engaged in a long and tiresome tease. Every few weeks comes some new sign of her supposedly imminent entry into the GOP presidential race, but nothing ever seems to happen.

For the latest flurry of speculation, we can thank Karl Rove, who used several television appearances last weekend to argue that "I think she gets in" and to suggest that Palin's scheduled appearance at a Sept. 3 Tea Party event in Iowa might double as a campaign launch. Like each one that's come before it, chances are that this eruption will soon die down without amounting to anything. Rove may just have been trying to spoil the campaign rollout of his old nemesis, Rick Perry, and Palin is now tamping down the speculation.

Which is sort of a shame. Because if you're tired of all of this, and if you're tired of all of the media oxygen that the former half-term Alaska governor still manages to consume, then you really should be hoping that Palin actually does get into the race: It may be the best way of making her disappear for good.

Why? Because a presidential campaign would almost certainly end in defeat for Palin. And not just any kind of defeat -- epic, humiliating defeat, the sort of disaster that might once and for all convince the political and media worlds that the empress has no clothes.....

The Boy Blunder is now at 38% job approval rating per Gallup and dropping.

38% is basically Blacks, Union members, people that want free stuff and intellectually lazy idiots.

Did the MSM really think they could “hide” this guy for 4 years?

Seems like a threat to me to make someone “Disappear” but what do you expect from the commie loving liberal loons. Their big eared freak is at what, 36 percent approval yet they are constantly worried about Sarah Palin, gee I wonder why..maybe because they know she can whip his sorry ass from here back to Kenya

That’s a whole lot of wishful thinking, written down hoping to make it so.

There should be a deal made with that writer, where if Palin loses, we stop talking about her, and if Palin wins, the writer goes away forever never to be heard from again.

If the writer doesn’t take us up on the deal, it will be undeniable proof that even the writer doesn’t believe in what he’s writing.

President Nixon was forced to resign under the threat of impeachment for a third-rate political burglary. Mr. Obama has done dozens of things that are 10X worse and there he sits, with no real talk of impeachment from anyone credible. That by itself is an accomplishment that the press can crow about.

Again I ask, if Palin’s defeat is so certain, why do liberals devote so much column space to her?

Libs are the kings of self-delusion. The writer contends that Palin’s defeat would be “epic, humiliating....”. The problem with that is that she could win. Even if she lost it would be with grace. She would have the time and receive enough attention to utterly impale Obama with her campaign, words and smile. She would also be able to set the record straight and would likely gain followers not lose them.

Either does "making Sarah disappear."

It's the Left: lying, hate-filled murdering scumbags from hell, controlling hypocritical, vicious, backstabbing liberal cowards.

I "hope" I didn't leave anything thing out. "At the end of the day" that would make me "sad."

While she isn’t my chosen candidate at this point. I will say that I appreciate the fact that she isn’t trying to control the message that the people get.

Nothing will turn a thinker off like being manipulated and she isn’t playing that game.

Let them all vent...it is part of the strategy. Drive the MSM and the RINO establishment to rethink their strategy. That too is part of the grand picture. Sarah is setting them all up. She will jump in when the time is right and we must trust that she knows when and where that will be.

EAGLES UP SARAH...PALIN PATRIOTS HAVE YOUR BACK!

I was leaning towards her not running two weeks ago, but now I'm leaning slightly towards her running.

The Iowa campaign video seemed to be a giveaway. She'll be good for the field and will soak up a lot of the fire and criticism from the press corps, leaving the front runners to fight it out. Bill Maher won't have enough air time to bash Perry or Bachmann when she's in the race.

She’ll be one of the front-runners soon after she gets in. You heard it here first.

She'll be in the top four, but won't win the nomination. And that's if she ends up running. I'd say "heard it here first", but it's been stated many times.

I don't see how she wins the nod when even Ron Paul outperforms her against Obama.

See, there you go buying in to the MSM’s polls and story line. If you really believe that crazy old Ron Paul would do better against Barack Obama than Sarah Palin, there’s nothing I can say to you.
