The wheels are off the Obama bus. It's up on the cinder blocks on some rental property in Martha's Vineyard this weekend. It is the end of the summer of discontent for a president who's clearly in over his head and whose wallowing is most unbecoming.
Mr. Obama's economic policy prescriptions, textbook Keynesian mumbo jumbo, have failed. History would have been instructive had only he been learned in the discipline. Obviously, he's not. Next month, he'll return with yet another chapter of the novella best titled "Hocus Pocus."

For it is a tragedy of our own making.

“Cassettes? How bout 8 tracks.”
Has anyone mentioned vinyl yet? Record players?
LOL, folks!
I had 78s as a kid, 45s as a teen, and 33 1/3s when I could afford the whole album.
I’m still resisting downloading iTunes...but then, there’s nothing I want to listen to anymore. Except my old CDs.
Reminds me of one of the worst managers I ever had when I worked in IT. She came from a meeting with the director and called me into her office. "I want you to write a 'Methodology' for our department."
"Okay", I said, "what is a Methodology?"
"I don't know what that is, but I want you to write it."
"Can you tell me what it does, or do you have an actual Methodology from another department that I can use as a Guide?"
"No. You need to go find one."
She was practically useless! Of course, when I finally figured out what it was, got others involved for their input, compiled practices, and finished the project, she presented it to the director as completing her assignment. Sounds like this is exactly the way this president does things. He probably has his low paid aides running around gathering ideas for him, missing their own vacations and then he'll claim it was all his own hard work - not that I think his peeps will have any better ideas than he has, but whatever he presents will not be his own work OR ideas, we can bet on that!
There was an article posted here yesterday, about the fact that Obie's poll numbers have fallen off a cliff in Pennsylvania. Bodes well for the future of our country.
I think he would probably be relieved that he didn't have to finish such a hard job as being president. I honestly do not think he has so much as an ember, much less a fire, in his belly to be the leader of the U.S. As of now, he has enough money socked away and the promise of speaking engagements (easy 'cuz he can just read the TelePrompter, like always) and future book deals (ghost written, of course), that he can have the life of Riley without so much as having to get up earlier than he wants for the rest of his life. 'Shell and the girls will have to get used to having him around, but he will have his golf, so they can still do their thang. At least we will be rid of an incompetent and dangerous narcissist and can begin healing the damage he did.
Those are Africans in that picture. He’s a hero over there, even if he is a zero at home.
All I can say is we need to get rid if the egg heads and let the C students back in! They always get r done!
Hocus pocus?
That’s the bad luck he blames his ‘mistakes’ on. Only they aren’t mistakes for him - it’s part of his plan that succeeded.
The idiot college students who voted for him in 2008 are now unemployed idiot college grads with big loans to pay off and no money. Question: did they learn enough in college to get it right this time?
Not to worry. In the real world the School of Hardknocks tends to be the ice cold shower that will snap them out of their Hope and Change euphoria.
That’s what I’m afraid of: the American people. Not only Democrats but poorly informed Republican primary voters as well
Re: Your Tagline
Sarah...LIGHT THIS CANDLE.
I understand. You’re right on. Thanks.
Im afraid of what he will do between the 2012 election and the inauguration.
Same here.
Alot of those idiots who voted Obama are unemployed now, and out of college. They may think different now.
I smell a Paul Shanklin parody and new lyrics when Uncle Rushbo gets back....
