The wheels are off the Obama bus. It's up on the cinder blocks on some rental property in Martha's Vineyard this weekend. It is the end of the summer of discontent for a president who's clearly in over his head and whose wallowing is most unbecoming.
Mr. Obama's economic policy prescriptions, textbook Keynesian mumbo jumbo, have failed. History would have been instructive had only he been learned in the discipline. Obviously, he's not. Next month, he'll return with yet another chapter of the novella best titled "Hocus Pocus."
--snip--
For it is a tragedy of our own making.

He didn’t know what he was headed for.
Agreed, he was a horrible candidate....shudder...
This guy has done nothing but campaign since he took office.
I don't call a 40 SUV motorcade down a dirt road, multiple aircraft ferrying his worthless entourage and his ass, up on blocks. He's ruling- did you hear that? Ruling by fiat. There's an uprising in Libya for treason against country for behavior just like this....
True, but what about the idiots that made McCain their candidate?
First he says he has a “Jobs Plan” but we can’t see it yet. Now, the news reports that he is calling up Warren Buffett to ask him how to create jobs.
This guy acts more like a 2nd grader who forgot to do his homework than the President. First, he lies (I did the homework but I forgot it at home), then we find out he is trying to cheat off his buddy and turn it in as his own work!
With his energy and environmental policies, he's killing the rat's historic base, the Jacksonians. The rats may finally lose a big majority of them permanently.
This guy so exemplifies the characteristics of an incompetent in the job, that The Peter Principle should be renamed the Obama Principle.

Hocus pocus? The magic is gone...
I was going to start a vanity before I saw this, and the vanity was going to be:
“Why hasn’t anyone called for Mr. Obama’s resignation yet?”
I dont’ care about eligibility. On the demerits, there should be public individuals calling for this man to have the character to admit he’s not up to the job and step aside.
We can discuss Biden’s fitness all day very legitimately, but many CEO’s would have been forced out long ago with a track record like this. Going into an election year, I think it serves both parties to ask why he’s running for reelection and not tendering his resignation.
I think the effect it would have would be for the departments to do the jobs they’ve been hired to do until a new President takes over.
Again, I don’t care at this point about eligibility. I think it will inevitably be raised in hindsight, and the birthers will likely be proved right, but I’m shocked that nobody - nobody - has simply asked him to face facts and step down.
Doesn’t that trump all rhetoric anyway? “Mr. President, in the national interest, don’t you think its time for you to resign the office? It takes character, after all, to admit you are overmatched, and since nobody is willing to make an argument that you aren’t, doesn’t that leave only one alternative? Isn’t the very idea that you’d entertain a second term a character flaw in and of itself?”
“Your version works as well
I loved the Guess Who...wore out the cassette tapes I had.
Gee, Im showing my age”
Cassette’s? How bout 8 tracks. :)
When Maxinw Waters is unhappy with him, its not good.
She’s unhappy because he didn’t cause enough damage.
Evidentally you didn’t see her rant. She’s mad because he has ignored her black constituents.
She’s too stupid to understand he’s destroying the country. She doesn’t want damage, she wants more feebees.
You must have meant to add sarcasm.
Had that as well except I went to "high tech" cassette when my 8 track player was stolen out of my car. I would have thanked the thief (hated 8-track) but never found him/her.
LMAO!
We need an Ammendment to the Constitution to call for early elections, like the Pariamentary systems!!
(Of course Bush the Younger would hae been tossed about 2006, as the War in Iraq experiment lingered...and lingered)
I’m afraid of what he will do between the 2012 election and the inauguration.
If so, what was he all wee-weed about?
