My father had been a democrat most of his life, until he voted for Reagan in the 1980’s and eventually switched parties. I remember he was watching the democrat convention in 1996 and kept saying, “What has the democrat party become? Just look when the camera pans the audience, it looks like a freak show at the circus!” I had to agree, he was right. Since then I love watching the democrat convention just to see the freaks on parade.
