Rove: Palin Definitely Running
Newsmax ^ | 8/21/2011 | Amy Woods

President Barack Obama set the stage for a “political battle” when he demanded that Congress raise the debt ceiling to avoid U.S. economic default, Karl Rove charged on “Fox News Sunday.” “He waited until it was a Republican House and tried to jam them, insisting on a clean debt ceiling,” said the former deputy chief of staff for President Bush. Rove questioned Obama’s tactics, pointing out the president has enjoyed a Democratic Congress for more than two-thirds of his administration. “But instead, he said he wanted the Republicans to have ownership in the deficit,” Rove said. “I love it. The Republicans passed a budget, and the Democrats in the Senate haven’t. The Republicans passed a slew of job-creating measures, and the Democrats in the Senate haven’t. The president now sits here and lectures us about how we need to take action. He has yet to put pen to paper and issue a jobs plan or a deficit-reduction plan in the last nine months.” Rove faced off with former Obama White House deputy press secretary Bill Burton, who openly insulted Rove for the Bush administration’s handling of the economy, the war and the stock market as television host Bret Baier tried to regain control of the show. When asked whether Sarah Palin will run for president, Rove said he’d bet on it. “This schedule she’s got next week in Iowa, it looks like that of a candidate, not a celebrity,” he said. “You can only tease so many times in the political process, and I think she’s getting to the end of that.”

Why does anyone care what Karl Rove thinks anymore? Karl, its over! President Bush has retired gracefully, but you just can't shut your pie hole. Rove is a media whore who is in love with the sound of his own voice. He isn't all that much different from Meaghan McCain at this point. The Republican Party has moved past Karl Rove. We want a Republican Party that stands for limited government and returning to the principles of our Founding Fathers. I like it when Rick Perry says that he wants to make the Federal Government as insignificant as possible. This is the opposite of Karl Rove-style "big government conservatism." Fox News and others need to stop providing Rove a platform for his outdated views.

BTW, I think he's wrong about Palin. She's also in love with her own celebrity and wants to keep raking in the bucks, not be a losing presidential candidate.

We will be looking for your groveling apology when she announces. After all, you just accused Palin of being about the mot base trickster imaginable, so if that accusation turns out to be false you will be looking in the miror.

I pray she runs but her future appearance with Glenn Beck tells me that she won’t.

‘You can only tease so many times’-

Weird,that’s what McCain’s daughter called her...a tease.

I guess the left isn’t the only journOlisting these days.

People have no idea how many of us are out there.....working and planning now, and not just waiting for the official word.

Anyone who wants in, private me.
The more, the merrier.

Rove is the past tense...and we do not like or respect him. He is being paid by Romney...and he’d love to split the conservative vote...if either Palin or Perry win the presidency...the gravy train is OVER...for the likes of Rove and others sucking off the tit of the government, lobbyist etc.

Rove is a liberal for hire hoping to divide the Republican Field.

He is out to reelect the Democrat Socialists this time.

I agree with every word you said. Rove and Perino’s type of “conservatives” are what helped get BO elected. No thanks to anyone they are behind. They are struggling to hang on to the last of the country club liberal republicans like the Bushes. I’m sick of FOX, especially Hannity, having him on all the time. I barely watch FOX anymore. Too many liberals.

Just the same regardless of what you think of Sarah Palin, Karl Rove is right.

Sarah Palin is running.

Regardless of those, like Rove, who do have stage presence on news sites and up front in your face. Anything favorable they say about Palin I will not dispute. Rove saying she's running...and her schedule as that of a candidate. Well there are people who do listen to him...so that statement is in her favor. IMO.

Rove is a symbol of what we left behind when we gave up and ditched the GOP elite forever.

He's still calling out for us. We can see him in the rear view mirror as we drive away. Smaller...getting smaller...smaller...

; )

Yup, don't you love it when Hannity has on Jerry Springer to represent the liberal side and Karl Rove to support the conservative side.

They need to be careful not to allow themselves to become a side show.

I can’t stand listening to Hannity anymore, constantly kissing Karl Rove’s butt and the butts of other RINOs. O’Reilly is always kissing his butt too, but O’Reilly has never been one of us. Another rich loudmouth who loves hearing himself talk.

Give me Mark Levin any day. There’s a host with some balls! And of course, Rush is always great.

I sure hope so. Millions hope so. There is no other better choice than Sarah.
She is a natural born leader. Sarah Palin is true Hope and Change.

Newsmax stoking the fires once again. If you read the statement--I was watching when he said it--he did not say Palin was "definitely running" he said it was a better than average chance based on what he was seeing.

I'm getting tired of the Palin partisans, the Paulettes, and disenfranchised libertarian Utopians and the establishment flacks trying to create controversy and telling out right lies about Perry.

What Newmax is doing is trying to apply more pressure on Palin to run. They should realize, as should her supporters, that she will decide what she wants to do on her own. She is plenty strong enough to make those decisions based on what she believes is best for her, her family, and her nation.

I wouldn't be surprised if she came out in her speech next week and announced her support for Perry--cant' wait to see the reaction to that . . . "Palin's a RINO!!!" "Palin's a sell-out!!!" I can just hear it now. :)
