Israel Air Force fighter jets eliminated a terrorist squad in northern Gaza late Saturday afternoon.
Military sources confirmed a direct hit on the terrorist cell, which had apparently just finished launching a mortar attack on southern Israel.
Israeli fighter pilots on Friday night attacked two terrorist tunnels, a weapons factory in southern Gaza and a terrorist training center as well. Direct hits were confirmed on all targets, and all IDF personnel returned safely to their bases.
“The IDF will not tolerate any attempts to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers and will respond with determination to any attempt to use terror against the State of Israel,” said the IDF Spokesman in a statement.
“The IDF holds the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.”
The Hamas rulers of Gaza took responsibility for a lethal barrage of Grad Katyusha missiles on the southern cities of Ofakim and Be'er Sheva Saturday night. One man died in the attacks, and numerous others were wounded, including a four-month-old baby and an eight-year-old girl.

I went on a Birthright trip to Israel a couple of years ago. With you being in Israel, I'm sure you're familiar with the program. It was a 10-day trip and we had 5 members of the Israeli military with us for four of those days. They really opened my eyes to the stuff that you guys put up with every day. It's hard to imagine how tiny the State of Israel is until you actually go there. Traveling from the north to the south takes some time, but less time than driving across New York State, and traveling east to west takes almost no time. We spent a day in Eilat and I remember being able to see how close the Egyptian and Jordanian borders were to the beach. Israel is surrounded by enemies and the UN keeps urging them to give up more and more land for this mythical peace that I keep hearing about, but never comes.

But it has come. It is here. Giving the PLO its own fiefdom has given the US peace in Saudi Arabia, because their yearly extortion money is much lower, the PLO having the Palis to shake down and lord it over, and the US and EU to pump for the rest of the money.
As September approaches, Jerusalem Palis are applying for Israeli citizenship in record numbers, and those Palestinians (as opposed to Israeli Arabs) outside of Jerusalem with the money and Jordanian citizenship to do it are relocating to Jordan. The Palis really don’t want them. The PLO was made their “sole legitimate voice” at Oslo by diplomatic fiat, and they’ve lived in fear ever since. Those palis with a less mendacious world view and a little leadership ability were quickly killed off as “collaborators”. The rest hate them, but also fear them, and individual initiative and standing alone is looked on poorly in Arab society.

It is my feeling that there is no love lost between Egyptians and the Hamas Palestinians. If they were desirable, rather than very undesirable, the Hamas Palis would be Egyptian. It seems to me that even though there is change in Egypt, it does not include scrubbing the stain off the people of Gaza

That’s the ONLY negotiation for these vermin. I hope to see the Israelis just take them apart, once and for all.
Muzzies are a people of war; that’s all they understand. I don’t see how anyone can live in peace near them. Their koran tells them explicitly to conquer and subjugate.
I’m at a point in my life and understanding of things where I just don’t give a rat’s ass what happens to the Pali’s or the Hamas idiots, or the Hezbollah - or socialist liberals here in America for that matter. Further All know the Muslims agenda concerning Israel. That will not change as long as they adhere to the Koran. And that the Muslim leadership uses to keep their people under subjection.
Egypt, Libya, Syria and all the uprising will not give these people the "freedom" they seek....they will still have a dictator governance...and quite probable more sinister than they have had. Especially since the Muslum Brotherhood is working directly with nation leaders...including ours. They are sinister in every way...cloaking themselves however necessary until they have governing positions filled throughout the M.E...as well as here in the USA.

That's exactly right. But so to are those in our camp who are permoting candidates who support the Muzzies...this is even more alarming for they operate on our side influencing those even here on FR.
The push is on to get all governments compliant with the "staus quo" to prepare the nations for one world governance.
Obama, Hillary, Reid and the rest know exactly what the agenda is on an international scale...and Perry too is buying into it as we see by his operations in Texas over the years.
I fear there is none powerful enough to stop this....it's in every corner lurking to strike like a Cobra.
One of the goals of the Muslim Brotherhood is to get politicians to do their work for them....and they are. Worse than a sad state of affirs in our nation....we are under seige and few that understand this let alone willing to do anything about it.
One thing I do know to date...Israel is very much aware of what's happening....and the agenda behind it. Unfortunately they will yield in time for the sake of a false peace.
