Is there any other conclusion after watching the Iowa video?
It is warm and inviting and part of the reintroduction that began with the Steve Bannon movie.
I have long thought that Governor Palin has been honestly trying to figure out the best use of the energy and attention and anger! that swirls around the name Sarah Palin.
And with this video, I think she just shared which way she is leaning.
So the stock price of her candidacy doubled in one day, huh? That's mighty impressive. Wonder what it'll be like a week from now?
Yeah, but it doubled from just the previous day. That's phenomenal.
Don’t forget this about InTrade...They had Huckabee winning the nomination after McCain clinched it in ‘08.
That’s the easy way around it. Although it might ruin the surprise. Perhaps they could have a live remote feed, or Palin calls in.
“Hey guy’s - glad you could take my call. Ya’ know, I’ve always been thankful for your support in Alaska. And I know that you’ll be there to support me in the future.
Ya’ know - I’m down here in the great state of Iowa at the Tea Party rally. Lots of folks here in Iowa are just as fed up with the government too - just like we are in Alaska. They asked me to speak about what we can do to chage the way things are going on in Washington.
And we ALL need to find a role to play - it is going to take all of us. With our different skills and passions - whatever those might be.
And I’m about to go on stage and talk about that - how we all have to find a place and way to get America to that great example of individual accountability and prosperity. I’m also going to talk about how I see my role in all of this. And that is as the next President of these great United States of America.
I wanted you guys to be the first to know. I’ll give ya’ a call tomorrow when I have a bit more time to chat - I have a speech to give now.”
You'd think that such a remarkable and history making development would be too large for even the dullest among us to miss, but just read the Palin threads and see how many still can't see the forest for the trees.
It's almost laughable that we've had to endure such a parade of doubters, haters, and the willfully blind on this forum.
It may have been irritating for us over the last couple of years, but I think that most of us have kept the big picture in mind. We need to pull together and get this once-in-an-era patriot over the finish line, and into the White House for the good of the country.
Note to self: Re-post this hilarious comment to RockinRight after Palin wins the primary.
Let's dispense with that right off the top, shall we? I never even insinuated that you're a PDSer, let alone, called you one.
I do not assume she'll break her word. Geesh. The assumption of the poster to whom I replied was that she will announce in Iowa.
And that poster was right. She will announce in Indianola, but she will find a way to keep her promise to Mark and Bob.
The world is gearing up to watch her speech on September 3rd, ONLY because it's assumed that that is when she'll declare her intention to run for president.
She is far too savvy of a political operator to squander the most critical moment of her campaign by spilling the beans to a couple of talk radio hosts the day before. It's not going to happen, and for very, very good reason.
That said, she will find some way to keep her word, and bring Mark and Bob into the big Moment.
You can bet it'll work out something like that. If anyone catches wind of those guys catching a flight out of Alaska on Friday night, we'll know what's up.
I agree with you 100%, Windflier. From your mouth to God’s ear. I was a Palin fan well before McCain did the only act with which I have ever agreed. I want Todd for First Dude so badly I can taste it.
Oh, I've seen them call stuff wrong before. How many millions of people bet on major games, and lose? Happens all the time. Still, it's a good barometer of what folks are thinking.
Yeah, sure. Better than polls.
I couldn't help smiling ear to ear watching that video.
Hi onyx....that bus looks just fine to me :))
Now, see how easy that was? That's pretty much exactly how I think she's going to handle it.
BTW, that was a great Palin impression. Sounds just like her.
I've often said that introducing Sarah Palin to the world will be McCain's only work of lasting value. I rarely, if ever, mention his military service, because I think a different man came home from that war. The John McCain I would thank, was lost in North Vietnam.
Better make sure you are telliung the truth and not just choosing one ideology over another. Ideologies are never true” they are just wish-lists.
“...Cromwell was a ruthless fanatic...”
Tom Reilly is an Irish historian who has a very different perspective. He finds it odd that the Irish have accepted so much Royalist propaganda about this Parliamentarian. His book, CROMWELL: AN HONOURABLE ENEMY is of great interest.
Well, the better half and I plan on being in Iowa on that day to watch her announce she's a candidate. Oh yeah, we'll be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary that weekend. Neither of us can think of a better present than Sarah announcing she's a candidate.
YOU BETCHA!
