About Obama's 'missing girlfriends'
WND ^ | August 19, 2011 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 08/19/2011 1:07:53 PM PDT by RobinMasters

As WND reported, radio host Rush Limbaugh raised an intriguing question on the air: "Where are all of Obama's former girlfriends?"

In referring to past email inquiries he received on this subject, Limbaugh continued, "They are interesting because those people haven't surfaced. There aren't any ex-girlfriends that have admitted it."

In fact, I wrote about this question in my book, "Deconstructing Obama," and on these pages last year. As the likely source of these rumors, I thought I might clarify them, at least to the degree they can be clarified.

As it happens, Obama inadvertently raised the girlfriend issue himself in his 1995 memoir, "Dreams from My Father." Published when he was 33, "Dreams" documents Obama's all-consuming search for identity.

Whether he dated white women or black women – and what he might have learned from either – matters, but Obama gives the reader very close to nothing.

"Cosby never got the girl on 'I Spy,'" he laments in "Dreams," but in his own retelling, he does not do much better.

Although Obama spent 13 years on the mainland as a single man, on only one occasion in "Dreams" does Obama make any reference to his love life.

In a brief recounting, he tells his half-sister, Auma, that in addition to a white woman he had loved and lost, "There are several black ladies out there who've broken my heart just as good."

I'm much, much more highly interested in the missing collegiate transcripts. (Full, complete, and unexpurgated.) Classmates, textbooks, grades, professors, publications (or not) will tell a more interesting, and one would bet embarrassing series of stories.

Not at all. She’s in it strictly for the money and power.

Sure, but why the obsession with the race of the women he had dated?

“It’s ‘immanent’, doofus, not ‘eminent’.”

No, it’s eminent. Immanent practicality makes no sense; that would mean she’s not practical, but is about to become practical....

I think the Rick Perry thing is a joke. We know virtually nothing about most presidents. Welcome to soundbite world.

I have been told by editors to use these two words the way I described. Maybe the editors were wrong. I can’t argue about it all day. Thanks for your input, etc.

It is my experience that girls are fairly smart.

This guy is damaged goods - the narcisism, the family issues (abandoned by two dads and a mom), the weird self loathing (anti-white) upbringing - etc.

Throw in - he is a total affirmative action guy - so - who does he meet on his own educational and emotional level who would want to last three dates?

Seriously - the girls he would run into would be like Ann Coulter - how long would this loser last before she put 0+0 together and figured out - “this guy is a zero”.

So - who does he end up with? Another social climbing Affirmative Action smart person wannabe - Moochelle. Walking around, thinking they are so smart, because they went to Harvard Law - while of course - neither actually practice .......

Add in - wanna bet he is a clost racist, who really doesn’t like blacks?

Even dumb girls would catch on to this guy.

"Sure, but why the obsession with the race of the women he had dated?"

Because it's critical in differentiating the reality of Obama from the myth that he (or more likely Ayers) tried to establish and promote in Dreams.

Deconstructing Obama is about winnowing out the reality of who Obama might actually be, from the scripted, media creation the majority of idiots voted for in '08.

Unfortunately there is a section of the US that is swayed by the tabloid stories.

Think about it. There had to be at least 5 different tabloids when I checked out at store today. Someone is buying them and reading them, on a regular basis, or there would not be more than 1 or 2 (if that).

The average American voter may not be as discerning as we would hope they would.

SO, ignoring the ramifications of the tell-all articles, or lack of, will not help our candidates.

Talking up the ‘have you slept with so-and-so’ liberal hypocrisy, to expose it for what it is, is fighting fire with fire. McCain didn’t bother to do that, while mud was being slung at him on a daily basis.

He took the high road. Look where it got him. His people limited Sarah’s ability to fight back, and she was buried in crap that she did not deserve, and coould not rebut, because she had to play by McCain’s rules.

Obama got all other candidates removed from ballots in his previous elections in Chicago. WHen you are the only one on the ballot, you have a good chance to be elected. His people opened sealed documents and spread the contents all over the place - sitting back quietly is not the answer when dealing with this kind of campaigning.

When they tell a lie often enough without being challenged, people tend to believe it.

You’re missing the point: most presidents, except Clinton, NEVER have anybody coming out of their past to talk about them.

Could you be more specific about what you mean? We have had countless biorgraphies on Presidents including while they were holding the office. People were interviewed all of the time about the President's early life, schoolmates, elective office positions, etc. And some people in their past have had some rather derrogatory remarks to make about them.

Top 10 Presidential Scandals, Here are a couple of them

Andrew Jackson's marriage--Before Andrew Jackson was president, he married a woman named Rachel Donelson in 1791. She had previously been married and believed that she was legally divorced. However, after marrying Jackson, Rachel found out this was not the case. Her first husband charged her with adultery. Jackson would have to wait until 1794 to legally marry Rachel. Even though this happened over thirty years previously, it was used against Jackson in the election of 1828. Jackson blamed Rachel's untimely death two months before he took office on these personal attacks against him and his wife.

Grover Cleveland had to deal head on with a scandal while he was running for president in 1884. It was revealed that he had previously had an affair with a widow named Maria C. Halpin who had given birth to a son. She claimed that Cleveland was the father and named him Oscar Folsom Cleveland. Cleveland agreed to pay child support and then paid to put the child in an orphanage when she was no longer fit to raise him. When this issue was brought forth in the campaign and even became a chant "Ma, Ma, where's my Pa? Gone to the White House, ha, ha, ha!," Cleveland was honest about the entire affair. This helped rather than hurt him, and he won the election.

And here are a few more:

Thomas Jefferson's alleged relationship with Sally Hemmings was the first presidential sex scandal in the United States and prompted a discussion that continues to this day. In 1802 Jefferson was charged with having an affair with his slave, Sally Hemmings, and in fact fathering a child. Jefferson denied the charges and remained as president for another 7 years, however the debate about the truth of the matter continued until 1998 when DNA testing proved that Jefferson more than likely fathered at least one of Sally Hemming's children.

Warren Harding had a reputation as a lady's man. Rumors circulated that the GOP paid one mistress to stay quiet during his campaign, while another girlfriend, Nan Britton, was raising his illegitimate child. Harding reportedly maintained his relationship with Britton, paying child support and continuing the affair, sometimes in an anteroom of the Oval Office.

You really think people will ignore all of the disaster Obama is and re-elect him because an internet web site askes about former girlfriends?

Hmmm.

I'm not sure who your editors are/were but they must know more about writing than Charles Dickens, who uses the phrase repeatedly throughout Hard Times.

They're probably smarter than Lord Acton, too, since he wrote:

"The science of politics is the one science that is deposited by the streams of history, like the grains of gold in the sand of a river; and the knowledge of the past, the record of truths revealed by experience, is eminently practical, as an instrument of action and a power that goes to making the future."

America has an odd relationship with the tabloids. People like to read them, but people don’t like to appear in them. And with good reason, if you’re in a tabloid something went very embarrassing with your life.

99% of what you see in the tabloids is rumor based on paparazzi photos.

I’m not ignoring the ramifications of tell all articles, I’m just pointing out that the lack of them for a particular person doesn’t really mean much.

I live in AZ, McCain lost because he’s a no good RINO anti-first amendment jerk and had troubles carrying his own state. I don’t vote for him, I vote against him in the primaries, and abstain from that section of the general.

Obama wasn’t the only one on the ballot in Illinois, and he’s not he one that imploded the IGOP leaving them begging for candidates. Their own sexual peccadilloes and badly run backroom deals did that.

Who cares about Obama’s past girlfriends? I don’t.
///
you have zero curiosity, why there AREN’T ANY ???

Perdogg says:
“We have plenty of stuff to beat 0bama without this stuff.”
///
not everything has to be “used”. this isn’t going to the MSN anyway. so what’s wrong with discussing it ???

it’s amazing that many people here, who have zero curiosity about ANYTHING Obama,
(like his illegal Connecticut SSN, when he was never there),
are very curious, posting in minute detail, on other topics.

but on Obama, were told “nothing to see here”. WHY?
=
as for:
“What was the name of the one that was banished to the Virgin Islands or someplace near there?”
///
there was never any evidence it was more than Michelle’s insane jealousy and insecurity.
=
as for the book quote, it was written by AYERS,
and is a meaningless work of fiction, proving NOTHING:

“There are several black ladies out there who’ve broken my heart just as good.”
=

His ex girlfriend wrote an exposé.

"Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder" by Larry Sinclair. It's available on bookstands now. Quite a read, too. Although Prezzidint "Bangy O'Bunghole" probably would prefer that you not read it.
