President Barack Obama has signed an executive order directing the federal government to design a new strategy for hiring, promoting and keeping workers of diverse backgrounds. The three-page order released Thursday directs the head of the Office of Personnel Management, a deputy director at the Office of Management and Budget and two other agencies to develop the strategy within 90 days. Agencies then have 120 days to implement it. An Office of Personnel Management report says that in fiscal year 2010, the federal workforce was 66.2 percent white, 17.7 percent black, 8 percent Hispanic, 5.6 percent Asian/Pacific Islander, 1.8 percent Native American. It was 56.1 percent male.

I also remember Wilson's Postmaster General, Albert Burleson, was notorious for mistreating employees of all colors, Warren Harding's PMG, Will Hays, had to restore humanity for postal employees.
The problem is that the GOP is absolutely worthless in fighting Diversity insanity (or Diversity Worship might be a better phrase). The GOP has bought hook line and sinker into this madness. They parrot the thoroughly leftwing rhetoric on diversity. They have surrendered to the idea that achieving diversity is a worthy goal. They have accepted that Diversity is our greatest strength.
When was the last time a prominent Republican spoke out against racial preferences? Has a prominent Republican ever challenged the PC orthodoxy on Diversity? Have you ever heard a prominent Republican explicitly defend whites against anti-white Diversity dogma and policies?
I don’t expect any different no matter who wins the nomination next year. We’ll get more of the same...craven GOP cowardice and a pathetic (and futile) attempt to avoid being called names.
Blacks may not turn out for Zero like they did the last time, so he better pick up more of the Latino vote.

It all about the right resume race
After I obtained a professional degree I traveled across my state to a job interview for an internship.
Had a great interview and all was looking well. Then I heard that I was basically a formality interview. They “had to” give the job to a black for political reasons so I had wasted my time and effort even applying.

I remember sitting in a meeting going over CV’s when one of my colleagues read aloud from a female candidate’s CV something about feminism and affirmative action. The guy threw the CV over his shoulder. That was a while ago.
Fortunately I’d be applying for a professional position that requires specific educational and work experience. That’s the beauty of medicine, engineering, finance, accounting, architecture, etc.: you just can’t show up and demand a position on the basis of EO.
How does this number compare with past Presidencies?
You may be correct for now, but unless we get busy and mobilize on the “real” issues and not the distractions Obama and the left are tossing our way, we will soon be living in govt-run housing and consuming our allotment of vodka so we can forget about the lousy housing we’re allotted.
Well, if Obama wants diversity to match the US Census, the Federal workforce needs to eliminate 5% of the black people, and hire about 6.2% more white people.

I’m going to apply and claim to be part Native American and part hispanic, lesbian, wiccan and from a first generation to hold a job. Think that will cover enough minority and federal criteria to get me a cushy job?
I work in the Federal government. Believe me, it’s diverse. I think Obama needs to look beyond his own advisors.
