The U.S. doesn’t speak for me, because the spokesmen for the U.S. don’t speak for US.

Does anyone know about the rebel leadership in Syria? I don’t know much about them and was just wondering if there is an element of Islamo Fascists. I would think not since it has always appeared that Assaad was in league with the Islamo Fascists. Common sense tells me that this is a true revolt of the people (like Iran has been), but I just don’t know.

That worked SO well in Egypt, where the terrorists rule, and Libya, where the dictator is staying PUT after seeing what happened to Mubarak.

How many more wars is Obama going to be allowed to run before Congress forces themselves to raise the debt ceiling again?

I don’t know how much ‘leadership’ there is.

Here’s some additional info .....

What’s with this making an annoucement that there will be an announcement?

Just tape the announcement to a 500 pound bomb and put in the same room with him.

That’s good to hear. I suspected that this would be a good uprising, given who is in power. If some form of democracy arises, they would have very tight ties with Iraq, quit being an influence on Lebanon and it might help Israel. This would be a good thing I believe. It’s hard to know how any of these uprisings will turn out. That’s why they are all so scary.

It could be said he is a day late and a dollar short.

Turkey already made the demand.

The fix is in.

“What’s with this making an annoucement that there will be an announcement?”

The weekend is coming up, dontcha know

“Just tape the announcement to a 500 pound bomb and put in the same room with him.”

That’s my thought, too.
And while they’re at it, send one to Khamenei, Ahmadinejad, IRGC headquarters, Rafsanjani and the Majlis while it’s in session

I knew Turkey made the comparison of Assad to Gaddafi. I didn't know they officially asked for him to leave.

How horrifying it must be for Assad... I guess this pre-announcement of the “Assad must go” announcement is to prepare the pencil-necked freak for years of hearing “his days are numbered” from the Skid Mark administration, as they have for the last year or so in Libya.
