I hate Dean almost as much as Obama. No one listens to that lunatic.

The scream machine is wishing for this I think. Any time a Democrat offers advice to the GOP or predicts internal GOP fratricide, it is not for the benefit of the GOP.
Nice try Howie but no cigar!

Great! Let them come out swinging! It will just prove that Perry is not Bush redux!
Of course this won’t happen...

Proving again what a dunce Dean is.

Rove is already on the clock. This could be a good thing for Perry, Bush was very unpopular at the end. Perry could run as a new refreshing candidate and platform, not another Bush Texan.

The one thing you have to give Debbie Wasserman Schultz credit - there aren't many people who can make Howard Dean look good. It takes a special person to do that.

Dr. Dean, I understand that you believe everyone is as self-centered, and shortsighted as you.
That is why you are a democrat.
President Bush actually loves this country more than himself. That means that he knows our current President is the single worst in the history of the Republic.
You honestly think that President Bush would allow his personal dislike of Gov. Perry to trump what would be a better choice for our nation?
Dr. Dean, you don't know George W. Bush very well - despite the vile things you and your pals have said about him for years.

It would take a bottom-feeding, disreputable network like MSNBC to pay the even slightest regard to this twit.

Why would Bush’s people care one way or another about Perry? Unless, of course, they’re planning a late entry for Jeb.

I saw Perry’s remarks and Rove’s response. I actually thought that Perry’s remarks were pretty tame. He said that Texans are not carbon copies, and you can sum up the difference by the fact that Bush went to Yale and he went to A&M. So why was that remark below the belt? I don’t know but Rove thought it was. My thought was that Perry was trying to distance himself from Bush, and Rove was helping him do it. I would have been satisfied with that explanation except that I heard the rumor that Jeb was trying to persuade Ryan to run, which would obviously be bad for Perry and help Romney. I suppose that you could say Jeb is also trying to help Perry distance himself. I don’t think Ryan is going to run in any event, so maybe it’s all just scripted. Or maybe the bad blood really is as bad as Rove made it appear.
