Obama dares Republicans to block his coming jobs package (Obama's grasping at straws)

After pledging to send a job-creation package to Congress next month and daring Republicans to block it, President Obama offered few specifics Tuesday about the form the plan might take as he stuck to a broad outline of how to improve the economy.

On the second day of Obama's three-day bus tour of the upper Midwest, the president worked off the blueprint he had used the day before, offering proposals such as extending a payroll tax cut, spending money to repair roads and bridges, and ratifying pending trade agreements.

And he continued to hammer away at Republicans in Congress, suggesting they stand in the way of economic growth, even as some Democrats expressed discomfort with what they saw as a potentially divisive stance.

"We could do even more if Congress is willing to get in the game," Obama said to a gathering of small-business owners, community leaders and rural development experts at a small college in Peosta, Iowa.

Let me guess his job plan will include....Higher Taxes on the Wealthy,Spending Billions more we Don’t have on “Stimulus”, and maybe getting rid of those evil ATM machines? LOL More of the same from Barry never any new ideas just same old socialist handbook. The Republicans in Congress should announce before he gives his plans if it contains any of these it’s DOA!

To normal Americans, black buses rolling around the countryside are considered sinister. Shows you how howlingly, mind-numbingly out of touch O is with American culture!

If we just build enough roads and bridges, we will see enormous economic growth! We'll have money coming out our ears!!

Seriously, does it ever occur to him that making stuff, selling stuff, exporting stuff might actually grow the economy and provide real jobs?

" After pledging to send a job-creation package to Congress next month and daring Republicans to block it " ....

The Republicans should tell Obama that if they don't block the so called " JOBS BILL " ( in fact, government is not really not productive in creating jobs, the private sector is ) then ? they will have to cut funding somewhere else, like government agencies...
This is a trap set up by Obama and Democrats for the Republicans in the election season.

Spot on SERKIT.

I AGREE WITH THAT

Everything this Jackwagon President does just grows the Tea Party more!

The winning rule in 2012: a direct and non-stop political attack on Obama's record.

There's so much to hammer on here with this administration.

Lets hope our GOP Presidential contenders have the courage to fight.

Yea, he's probably going to propose tripling food stamp payments to jumpstart the economy.

DumBO’s job package is:

1. Non existent.

2. Would be open to criticism.

3. Would be a position from which he must compromise.
