** Did Perry go too far? A day after appearing to outshine Michele Bachmann on her home turf in Waterloo, albeit with some tough rhetoric aimed at President Obama, Rick Perry might have gone a bit too far in criticizing Obama and even the Federal Reserve while campaigning in Iowa yesterday. For Texans, this is typical Perry. But for Americans who do not know him, it's eyebrow-raising rhetoric. In fact, he sounded more like Trump or Gingrich. "I think the greatest threat to our country right now is this president trying to spend his way out of this debt," Perry said last night in Cedar Rapids, per NBCs Carrie Dann. (A greater threat than international terrorism?) When reporters asked if he believes Obama doesnt love America, Perry responded: You need to ask him. And then he upped the ante in remarks directed at the Fed. "Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous or treasonous in my opinion," Perry said, per Dann. He went on to say that promoters of such an idea -- hinting but not naming Ben Bernanke specifically -- would get an "ugly" treatment in his home state of Texas.

It was the Communist plan in 1934. It is 0bamas Communist plan today.
Perry needs to hunt for moose, say that he isn’t a warlock, and have an interview next Thanksgiving with turkeys being slaughtered behind him. Then, Perry would of gone too far.
Who gives a rat’s ass what pMSNBC has to say about a conservative?
How dare ANYBODY criticize the President that allowed MSNBC to pay zero in taxes. I think MSNBC should recuse themselves from reporting on the elections this year.
Bump!
ABO - Anyone but Oboma!
Those wankers at MSLSD recognize the real threat to their Wonder Boy, and they are out to stop him. Perry knows what he’s doing - and so do they.
Where’s the Barf alert :), shouldn’t it be standard for anything coming from PMSNBC :)
I think that ANY Conservative candidate can succeed without descending to the levels Liberals have done.
I would really not like to see Conservative candidates BECOME the petty and ugly voice in American politics that Liberals have become. It is not necessary
BTTT
We can only hope that this is Perry’s most mild statement. The Libtards have thrown every piece of excrement they can muster at us and we are supposed to be careful in describing their treacherous, nation destroying behavior. It’s time to take off the gloves. They aren’t ever going to love us and if we don’t let them make the rules we are far better off.
I'm not saying I think he should, I'm just saying he would be a rational choice.
Will I never learn?
Chuck Todd and P-MSNBC doing their part on behalf of the DNC to take down any Republican that may stand in the way of absolute liberal domination. After all, Liberals have been divinely appointed to have dominion over all living creatures and the planet! How dare anyone challenge them.
Therefore, it is the duty of the corrupt MSM to labor to diminish and tear down any Republican.
You know what, Chuck, Mark, Domenico and Brooke? If you want to be treated nicely in Texas, you don’t print more money and you don’t show up at a barbecue with salsa made in New York City.
Palin also would not be on anyone’s list. I’m sure he’ll let her campaign for him, though. Maybe she can be Sec. of Energy. That’s a suitable job for her, it seems. Not sure if she can keep her mouth shut enough to be a mere cabinet secretary though. She might just decide to keep doing what she’s doing. Then again, once she is clearly not a presidential candidate, the media might FINALLY lose interest in her. In that scenario, she might want to get back in the action.
Obama's doing just that.
Another way is what we've been doing all along. Increase our majority in the House and win the Senate. Bush had spent 8 years trying to do what a few fear Perry will do but could not get anything passed and the President we have today's trying to do the same thing.
Only difference is, the President we have NOW shoved Obamacare down the throats of the American people. And that's not all he's done. The question should NOT be whether Obama, Perry or Palin will seek to pass Immigration Reform. The REAL question is who do you trust more with the constitutional process required to actually pass "Immigration Reform"? Obama, who has a history of ignoring the Constitution?
Well, I know who I do NOT trust.
He's obviously going to be pressed to "apologize". If he's smart he will used this tempest to explain why printing money is a bad idea. Ignore the calls for an apology. Keep the issue in the forefront of the minds of The Libturd Media and The American People.
Don't apologize, Rick! Explain why it's a bad idea.
