CANNON FALLS, Minn., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- President Obama lunched with five recent military veterans while he was in Cannon Falls, Minn., on a bus tour to rural America.
Obama emerged from his bus, parked in front of the Old Market Deli, waving and smiling to onlookers, some chanting "Obama, Obama."
The lunch provided Obama a chance to hear directly from veterans from rural areas about their experiences and discuss what his administration has done to ensure veterans have the support needed when the leave the military, the White House said.

I looked at the headline in RSS really quickly and thought it said “Obama meets, eats veterans”
I laughed so hard, thinking it must have been a parody, but still funny the image I had in my head.
After dining, Obama greeted onlookers on the sidewalk, including a middle-aged woman who told the President her son had just returned from Afghanistan, The president embraced her, asking, “Is he okay?”
Surprised he didn’t ask the staff who let her that close?
Please, no pictures of Bambi eating. He eats like an animal, just opening wide and shoving the food into his mouth. I guess they don’t teach table manners in Kenya.
But even aside from that, I can’t imagine a vet sitting anywhere near him without feeling queasy.
They would have to drag me to the chow hall in chains.

The US Army trained us that the chain of command is only as strong as its weakest link. In the current occasion I suggest that weakest link is Barry Soetoro aka Barak Hussein Obama. And with Leon Panetta in the Pentagon -to provide political cover for Gunwalker no doubt— the chain of Command seems weak from the top down.I so agree with Col Ronald D.Ray back in the early 90’s he suggested it would be a Military Officer who would be called to restore the Principles this Country has frittered away.But he was a Marine and an Officer I just an enlisted Medic.
I’m a Vietnam Vet, I haven’t eaten today. Think he cares? I’ll eat later.
I complained about the traffic, today. I got through the traffic and unbekownest to me, it was a Funeral. I feel very Fortunate, now, that Obummer is not here to feed me.
