Should he be paying for the Republican bus too. That is why there is two. Who would pay for the Republican bus? So Obama has to pay for an entire bus but the Republicans can split the cost. These bus’ will be used for years and years. It is just now that it happens to be Obama’s presidency that the bus’ were due for getting new ones. It would be the same story in 2013.
They don’t give candidates SS protection until they win their party’s nomination, unless the POTUS specifically orders it, like Bush did for Obama.

I think this is an OUTSTANDING comparison between Sarah Palin and Obama.
Look at the difference, Sarah travels for 125 dollars a day in gas, and Obama travels for Seven Hundred and Thirty Three THOUSAND dollars a day PLUS Gas.

Obama buys armored outhouses with mink seats. There is existing ways to move presidents, we don’t need to buy million dollar busses for a three day trip. We don’t need three day trips in the first place. We need a Congress that EARNS its paycheck. Not SPENDS OURS!!!

That being said, I think the RNC, DNC or individual campaigns should pay for the buses, not the taxpayers. Not all candidates get SS protection from the beginning anyway, do they (except for BO)?
How much you want to bet there are no “Republicians” on the second bus? Why would Republicans travel around rasing cash for Obama’s re-election?
