I found this a good primer to Perry. Nice bullet points on his history.

Of course both of these articles did not mention that he is Sarah Palin, so he is a RINO/CINO/Commie Pinko sympathizer.

How did he explain using 200 million dollars of Texas taxpayer money to fund private corporate ventures. Where his hand selected panel memebers got the priviledge of selecting winners and losers from a small field of campaign contributors deciding who would be awarded and how much so with taxpayer funds.

Are his campaign contributors excited about the prospect of getting their hands into the Federal governments cookie jar?

Cha-Ching!

Perry = Obama on illegal immigration. Like Obama, when Perry says “Enforcement” he means “deporting only those who commit serious felonies”. Texas is a magnet for illegals because Perry gives them college tution and welfare.

Ohhh Swoon!!! I do Believe Mr. Ricardo has powerful oratory skills! I don’t need to look into his past and besmirch him. His hollow words sound pretty enough for my ears.

Candidates have all of the solutions to all of the issues, while campaigning, but things change, after they get into office! I wish that there would be a recall system put into place for all politicians and for all judges, at each and every level!

“We’re going to stop spending the money, unless I run out of ink in a veto pen,”

And yet, Perry supported TARP and the raising of the debt ceiling by $2.4 TRILLION dollars.

Why anyone is buying this guy I have no idea.

He also said that “We are not the servants of government, we are the government.”

Someone should have reminded him of that when he used the executive order option to force ll yr old girls to have Guardisil injections. Of course the fact that one of his former staffers was a lobbyist for Merck had nothing to do with it, nor did Merck’s large campaign contributions.

Facts are not spam.

- Texas is second only to California in the size of its illegal alien population. During the decade Rick Perry has acted as Governor, the Lone Star State’s number of illegal aliens and anchor babies has consistently grown.

- Governor Perry has rejected Arizona’s SB 1070 immigration law enforcement measure, describing it as inappropriate for Texas.

- Governor Perry has repeatedly voiced his opposition to building a border fence. He has derided the notion of completing the barrier as “nonsense” and “idiocy.”

- Governor Perry signed a bill granting taxpayer subsidized in-state college tuition rates to illegal aliens in Texas. Perry happily boasted of this accomplishment when making an official visit to Mexico.

- The Governor from Texas has opposed the use of E-Verify, a free system available to employers that allows them to check whether or not they are hiring someone who can legally work in the U.S.

- Perry signed into law the Texas DREAM Act, which is the same amnesty bill that Obama and the Democrats tried to pass during the last congress

Perry has a ‘D’ rating on immigration. He is against E verify, Arizona’s immigration law, and allows instate tuition for illegals. Sorry Rick you won’t get my vote.

Perry already has a record that hurts him with voters concerned about illegal immigration. In April, he stated that he would not support a version of Arizona’s SB 1070 for Texas. In 2001, he signed a bill allowing the children of illegal immigrants to receive in-state tuition at Texas universities. He opposes using E-Verify, the federal electronic system for verifying prospective workers’ immigration status.

In 2001, Texas became the first state in the country to pass an in-state tuition law. The law created a national movement. Many private universities also now award aid to illegal immigrant students.

There are about 1000 anchor babies per month being churned out at Dallas Parkland Hospital...that’s just one Texas hospital. In Parkland Memorial Hospital Dallas, the second busiest maternity ward in the United States, 70% of the women giving birth were illegal aliens. That added up to 11,200 babies for which Medicaid kicked in 34.5 million dollars to deliver these babies, the feds another 9.5 million and Dallas taxpayers tossed in 31.3 million. The average illegal patient is 25 years and giving birth to her second anchor baby. Dallas Parkland Hospital 70% of the women giving birth were illegal aliens. Almost 1000 per month.

Perry actually said he supports this: “ Legislation authored by border legislators Pat Haggerty and Eddie Lucio establishes an important study that will look at the feasibility of bi-national health insurance. “
“This study recognizes that the Mexican and U.S. sides of the border compose one region, and we must address health care problems throughout that region.”“That’s why I am also excited that Texas Secretary of State Henry Cuellar is working on an initiative that could extend the benefits of tele-medicine to individuals living on the Mexican side of the border.”

“Mr. Perry, where do you stand on the issue of abortion”?
-Why, I am a pro-life evangelical Christian. I believe that the precious life of a baby should be protected both inside and outside of the womb. You can take those words to the bank!
“ And who did you support in the last republican primary, and what was their stand on abortion”?
-Why, I supported Rudy Giuliani who is pro-abortion.
“ No more questions, your honor”.
