Michell Bachman now trying to show the difference between GOP spending habits and the regime. Geithner--we don't have a problem I still have checks.

Candy playing the gotcha game only not as viscous as DNC Dave.

When Sarah Palin goes on MTP, FTN, Hardball, and several other shows we can talk about her playing in Bachmann’s league. I think Palin, because of her executive experience is a better choice, but Bachmann has gone into the lion’s den on seveal occasions and held her own and more. While Sarah Palin sticks to appearing on Hannity and Greta.

Yes, agreed, Bachmann has appeared more confident lately, she’s doing what is right and the support she is getting confirms that. I’m surprised and glad she won the straw poll, her intelligence and ability to articulate it has put fear into the Democrats(media) that thought she would be a push-over.

I have to agree but if anything comes out of this I really hate to see Newt destroyed.

He has always been a loose cannon and obviously has a runaway ego. But, that being said he is an excellent think tank guy and we really do need his wisdom in many areas. It would be sad to lose all that.

One needs to be ready for the gotcha game when one is on the national stage.

This is true for all but Obama.

Speaking of Perry....all morning all I’ve heard was “Perry” this and “Perry” that.

Seems the libs love the guy.

Though, frankly, I’ll vote for Perry if he gets the pub nom. so far I’ve nothing against him but I do think his sneaky way of insinuating himself into the Iowa primary in an attempt to steal thunder from the other candidates to have been a bit snarky. though, hey, politics is politics and a hard-fighting Republican delights me more than offends. Keep an eye on Perry in the future and see if he fights the Dems like this. The perfectly polished nailed pubs tend to beat up other Republicans as they reach across the aisles with sparkling teeth, perfectly coiffed hair and shiny polished fingernails.

Also, on the Candy Crowley show one of those pundit talking heads, an oily-headed Repub I think, said that the “establishment” Republicans might have to come out and “deal” with Bachman if she keeps gaining steam on her run. The “establishment” Republicans, scuse me? Would that be the Blue Blood Ruling Class who deigned the candidates us boobs voted in over the betraying Mike Castle? Folks, it slipped out, keep eyes and ears opened. the “establishment” Republicans might have to “deal” with Michelle Bachman....they never give it up no mind what you and I, the rubes in the hinterland, feel.

I also forgot to mention David Gregory’s insistance about whether Michelle will appoint a homosexual to the cabinet and come on guys, help me out here. How many Americans do you suppose are tossing nights for worry that the Republican nominee might not appoint a lesbian as Secretary of the Treasury or allow the married couple of Dick and Al ascend to Joint Chiefs of Staff?

I’m thinking maybe some Hollywood weirdos think about this but us boobaloobs in flyover country give it nary a worry. and yet the host of Meet the Press spends twenty minutes on this subject?

You’d think the economy might be more important, huh?

You are a better man than I. Every time I try and listen to Boortz he seems to go off on tangents and I turn the dial.
I actually feel sorry for anyone in that time slot. Its full of such great talent.

No, people need to realize that politics is a contact sport and put their big boy pants on.

Fact. Representative Bachmann railed against the continuing resolution, but wasn't in favor of a government shut down to force Obama's hand.

Fact. She said she couldn't support Ryan's Medicare overhaul because senior citizens didn't understand it.

Ok, this is how she legislates. Is this how she will govern?

Fact. She cut off all contact with a lesbian relative. Are we to believe that sexual orientation will not be a litmus test in her appointments? Hard sell but her personal story has brought her to this point.

These are the hard questions that need to be asked of the candidates who are currently in.

That's true but only for this year. In prior years Palin was more than tested and IMHO learned and evolved nicely from the many and frequent tests. I have no clue as to whether or not she will run and still am not deterred from supporting her either way.

Palin is the single best asset we as conservative Republicans have to destroy rats and elect more conservatives to office.

Hey Pat...

Perry's entry reiniforces libs own-world perspective that ALL Pubbies are religious freaks, and/or "weird"..but now they'll have to divide their fire between Mitt and Rick

Gregory did a hatchet job on Bachmann, but she did a TERRIBLE job in responding to it...she stammerred, stuttered, didn't look, well...PRESIDENTIAL...can't believe she wasn't prepared for those questions..

As for CNN their Sunday host Candy whatever is now trying to talk Cain out of the race not too gracefully either

I saw that and wanted to slap that woman. How tasteless. Cain, a kind of back of the pack nobody, got 8% of the vote, he hardly should be slapped aside.

I think Pawlenty dropped out because a)it was his intent right along if he didn't do well on the straw poll and b)frankly I think Perry was recruited to kind of take on Michelle Bachman....whereas that job once belonged to Pawlenty.

I know the Blue Bloods are concerned about Michelle's momentum because they do, as you know RG, know what's best for us.

Yes, the Romers 39 page research article, “tax increase of 1% of GDP lowers real GDP by almost 3%” sure went into a lot of detail to say something most of us here had the right idea about.

But it also puts a number on the damage ‘taxing the rich’ will do to the economy, which needs to be thrown into the argument as example of how the Democrats promote class warfare.

This is how this works. You post things, other people respond to them. You then start crying "Poor me I am being attacked" the second anyone points out to you where they differ with your opinions.

That is common Leftist debate tactic. It no surprise people start wondering what your agenda is here.

When you post things like your"I am being accused of being a Democrat plant" post, you are attempting to divert off topic rather then have to respond to the point being made to you.

If you don't like how people are responding to your posts, you might want to consider what you are doing to cause that sort of response.

So far, it’s looking pretty good, but late August and September are when the biggies come rolling off the African coast. Hopefully, the weather patterns will be like last year and curve them to the north.

DNC Dave doesn’t even hear the answers. He just stays with his WH prepared talking points without the slightest interaction to her answers. He is beyond pathetic.

That said, Michelle handled him very well not letting him answer his own questions.

You’d think the economy might be more important, huh?

That is the whole take away lesson. If they spent twenty minutes on the economy, the only thing that would come out of that discussion would be how lousy the current administration is in dealing with it. They simply cannot risk it.

The purpose of the media is not to elucidate, it is to destroy any conservative, by any means possible, period.

After watching Gred Davory trying to make Michelle into a religious intolerant extremist I am amazed how timely my post was. He is making a perfect example of the intolerance of the commie left to oposition.

He makes my points better than I ever could, how could anybody be against homosexuality??

Pray for America
