I like him a lot but after the black one we have now, there is no way in hell another black will be elected for many, many years. The American people are a lot smarter than that. There is no way another incompetent and inexperienced black (or white for that matter) will be elected President for a long long time.

If she is not going to run, then I want her to say so immediately because the possibility of her running is muddying the water so to speak, and making it difficult for us to rally around a winning candidate from those we have to choose from that are actually running.
On the other hand, if she is running, she can take all the time she wants.

“The winner was the highest bidder. Bachmann and Paul forked enough cash to buy votes at 30 dollars a pop.”
If that were all there were to it, Romney would have stayed in and won. He’s got the dineiro compared to other candidates. I guess your sour grapes are free, though.

the voters don’t pay 30 bucks.
here is how it works.
if you are a Bachman supporter,
you get on the Bachman bus,
they give you 30 bucks,
plus tickets good for food plus other stuff

August 13, 2011 -- Bachmann Wins Iowa Straw Poll
.The results were as follows: Out of 16,892 votes cast, Mrs. Bachmann got 4,823 (28.5 percent). She was followed by Mr. Paul with 4,671 (27.65 percent) and Mr. Pawlenty with 2,293 (13.5 percent).
The rest included Rick Santorum with 1,657; Herman Cain with 1,456; Rick Perry with 718; Mr. Romney with 567; Newt Gingrich with 385; Jon Huntsman with 69 and Thad McCotter with 35. There were 162 write in votes that got less than one percent of the total.
Mr. Perrys total was striking since his name did not appear on the ballot. He announced his candidacy earlier Saturday, during a speech in South Carolina, but still bested Mr. Romney, who won the straw poll in Ames four years ago. source
To: tcrlaf
No he wasn’t. He was on the ballot, but he was not there in person.
To: DRey
so these drop out?
Pawlenty 2293,
Santorum 1657,
Cain 1456,
Romney 567,
Gingrich 385,
Huntsman 69,
McCotter 35,
and huntsman moves faster than most rinos to the democrat party?

Romney was a WRITE-IN. You folks all realize that, right?
Wrong..... Go look at the ballot list published back sometime ago. There were nine candidates listed and they were going to allow write ins.

No, I was there. Romney was on the ballot.
Santorum got 3 times Willards total.
To: DRey
Whats missed here is that upcoming Rick Santorum did so well. He would have gotten my vote also.
To: Winstons Julia
IMO...Cain is the real deal. He burned himself out last election. He's lucky he still is a Senator.
To: parksstp
This debate is not the firsts time Paul has opened his mouth and showed his true colors. Yea, he talks a good game when it comes to the Fed and Washington spending, that’s until you look at his record.
