However, I can’t find any video of that alleged Perry statement.

It was like other school vaccines...”mandatory”. There was an opt out provision too. Then the public reaction and the thing was dropped. It most certainly was not “forced”.

In other words, Palin is all Tea Party outsider, and Romney is all GOP High Command insider, and there is precious little overlap.

It's interesting to finally hear someone on this thread admit that Perry is an Establishment candidate. Listening to the majority of posters on this thread, you would think the man had single-handedly founded the Tea Party.

Please describe ‘Just how did George W. Bush act’?

I always thought he had CLASS, CHARACTER, DIGNITY, LOVE OF HIS COUNTRY,PRIDE IN THE OFFICE OF PRES OF THE UNITED STATES, He loves his family, has been retired and respectful of the jerk now serving,
and this family was a helluva lot better off financially than under what is now in charge..
GWB had men and women of character serving with him as well...

so what say you about his actions...enlighten me PLEASE

Wrong-o.

Perry is past 60 in age and his hair is the way his hair is.

You might be cracking up, might not, but your comment that he made his hair like Reagan’s at best lacks any perspective or context.

I am on record here, fwiw, that she will endorse Perry. We shall see about that, I know.

I predict that too.

However, I also predict that Palin will play her teasing game as long as she possibly can get away with it, maybe to the point of actually declaring and running a phony campaign, without any paid staff (as Newt Gingrich is doing right now) in order to squeeze every last possible dollar out of her celebrity status.

After praising Palin, Coulter goes on to say that she does not think that Palin will run for president. Hannity counters by saying that Coulter is "unnecessarily narrowing the field" and that Palin has publicly said she is still considering a run. It is at this point that Coulter reveals, "I think she's saying that because she also said Newt Gingrich told her you can get higher speaking fees if you pretend you are running for President."

The eventual endorsement will take quite a while.

Palin is currently playing this very lucrative game with FOX News and there is still plenty of money to be made with the Teasing Game:

Due to the "Equal Time" provision of Section 315 of the Communication Act, TV networks cancel the contracts of employees that are serious Presidential candidates. Yet, Palin and FOX News continue a very cozy relationship that is very lucrative for both of them:

1.) Sarah Palin spends a week here and a week there pretending to, maybe, run for President. Such a fake "teaser" campaign does not trigger Section 315.

2.) FOX News hypes each of her fake "teaser" campaigns.

3.) At the end of each fake campaign, Palin's loyal supporters and the curious Palin non-supporters then drive the FOX ratings as Palin appears in an "exclusive FOX interview of Sarah Palin" where one FOX employee (Palin) is being paid to be interviewed by another FOX employee that is paid to toss Palin cream puff questions.

4.) Palin cashes her paychecks and FOX News gets their ratings bonanza.

5.) Rinse and repeat, again and again and again for as long as the game keeps generating money for FOX and for Palin.

The longer Sarah Palin keeps playing the Teasing Game, the more money the Sarah Palin™ Brand brings in. Therefore, Sarah Palin will play the Teasing Game as long as she can possibly get away with it.

If that leaves her loyal followers foolishly "Waiting for Godot", ...... Well, too bad, so sad, ....... That is what needs to happen to keep the money rolling in.

Whatever Palin does, I predict that the end result will be a maximization of the Sarah Palin™ Brand income.

If you want to accurately predict what Palin will do, FOLLOW THE MONEY. Whatever maximizes the money, that is what Palin will do.

It's interesting to finally hear someone on this thread admit that Perry is an Establishment candidate.

It's not really for me to 'admit', but as an observation I think is valid. The guy is a prominent, senior governor of one of the largest states in the Union, which makes him a default leader of the GOP. You can't really claim to be an 'outsider' at that point.

Fact remains, the GOP big donors and power players in DC hate Palin. They don't like Romney, and they really don't like that he has no love from the grassroots. They want to back a winner, not a victory-by-default attrition monkey.

Perry is a very easy sell to that crowd. Success sells itself, and the guy is a team player. Establishment types like sure bets and folks that play well with others. Since he doesn't disappear when he turns sideways, he's more substantial than Romney. A lot of the grassroots dismissal of Romney won't be an issue with Perry. The guy grew up in a shack in the desert, not under a creepy, election obsessed cocoon of wealth and willingness-to-power.

Laughing hard here in Texas...

Perry isn’t handled by “handlers”.

Perry is from Haskell County, TX. Cotton and Oil are King there.

We as a state are fighting the EPA with both barrels.

Please stop with the illusions, delusions or whatever they are.

Sarah Palin — Fred Thompson in a skirt — just better looking and smarter, same tease.

“Waiting for Fred” worked out real well, didn’t it? We ended up with McCain, then Obama.

People didn’t learn their lesson, some are totally detached from reality.

Huckabee saying Perry made a “big mistake” by announcing same day as Iowa.

What a goober.

No, he hasn't. He's made an occasional speech in front of Muslim groups.

'Very pro-Muslim' would be George Bush, or Barack Obama, or Chris Christie. Slapping Muslim voters on the back and congratulating them for inventing algebra 900 years ago is hardly being pro-Taliban. Nice try, though.

I never cared for Huckabee. He is fine as a talk-show host, but he has some socialist tendencies, thinks the government should be “taking care” of the people, not exactly a conservative point of view.
