Yesterday Wisconsin State Republicans faced recall elections. Their crime in the twisted minds of democrats? These republicans voted to balance the WI state budget. As you all know, 14 democrat state senators fled our state to avoid taking the vote on that budget bill.
Last night we learned that the recall elections from Tuesday August 9th, resulted in 2 of the 6 republicans being taken out of office.
The count before the election was 19 repubicans to 14 democrats in the state senate.
After yesterday's elections we now have 17 republicans against 16 democrats.

Help us Cheeseheads spray a big old can of “RAID!” on the dems next Tuesday!
Thanks for posting the live link!
And it even works from my computer.
: )
Both the Simic and the Steitz sites are up at this moment. I had no trouble reaching them with the urls given t the top of this page.

I think that Ozaukee County was the only area in WI that did not go for Obama in 2008. So that means that both of those areas (Simic and Steitz) live in districts that voted for Obama.
Thank you for posting the great news that all 6 repubs who retained their seats yesterday, were from ObamaBot districts in 2008.
That is very encouraging!
For out of state FReepers, I will add another good thing from yesterday’s elections: The dems (and I know Obummer was in on it all) used 30 million dollars in the first set of recalls. They got 2 seats. That is 15 million per Rat.
Today the dems claim they will go ahead with recalling Governor Walker next year. However, should they lose both races next week, they might reconsider. Then again, they are commies to the core, and will probably recall just to be the commies they are.
It’s a beautiful day in Wisconsin!
Next week, I pray that 2 more dems are kicked out of WI government.
: )
Thanks for the good news!
ping for later and a donation....
Second to the last person with dial up...me too. :O(
Ping for you, Jim.
I’d like to get as much coverage as possible on these upcoming recall races in WI.
I don’t know how to put this article in the sidebar where it will be seen longer.
I heard you have a lot of pull around here.
: )
I am in Wisconsin, ground zero for getting rid of public union control, and saving the taxpayer from the unquenchable thrist the government has for our money.
We retained control of the WI state senate yesterday in the recalls, but we have 2 more races next Tuesday.
WOO HOO!
Let’s go get ‘em!
Woo Hoo!
Thank you!
We are out in the sticks.
I guess there are ways to get high speed but we haven’t done it yet.
Alberta Darling is on Mark Belling’s show now (4:40pm).
I have satellite TV but it goes out with every rain for up to 15 minutes. My land line only goes out if someone hits a telephone pole...its slow, but more reliable than satellite...(and I am cheap) GG

Just yankin' yer chain .. I remember when 28k was new/hot/fast !
Yes that’s the noise we hear every day when we start up the old jalopy! And she’s not “a duzy”!
I am currently at a neck snapping speed of 28.8k!
LOL!
” I spelled democrat wrong.
Forgot the Oh!.”
Doomocrats.
We have Dish Net, which we like.
But until we removed 3 trees, we would get iffy reception, even from tree leaves blowing in the wind. It takes a pretty good thunderstorm or heavy rain to take out the signal now.
PS- I am cheap too, or I’d have high speed internet by now!
Doomocrats is good.
Lately the term “ObamaGeddon” has stuck with me.
