NEW YORK (Reuters) - The United States lost its top-notch AAA credit rating from Standard & Poor's on Friday, in a dramatic reversal of fortune for the world's largest economy.
S&P cut the long-term U.S. credit rating by one notch to AA-plus on concerns about growing budget deficits.
U.S. Treasuries, once undisputedly seen as the safest investment in the world, are now rated lower than bonds issued by countries such as the UK, Germany, France or Canada

You know it is REAL BAD when the MSM are attacking Perry for calling for and attending a ecumenical prayer service. It is okay for Obama to celebrate ramadan with a picture of him and his prayer rug the first year in the WH and give money to terrorists and protect them and give them miranda rights but a potential Presidential candidate goes to pray for our country and he is attacked for mixing faith/religion and politics?
The double standard, Obama and the MSM are the far hinged radicals. And I am not kidding if Obama strolls to the podium and blames Mon. morning I will not rest until someone calls for his impeachment trial. If the political hackery continues we all lose.

So, the “big boys” on Wall Street most likely got wind of this coming early in the week, and bailed - leading to the 5+% drop on Thurs, and the follow-on selling Friday..
And the rest of us (who weren’t so lucky as to get a ‘heads up’ from our politically connected friends in high places) got financially slaughtered.
Gotta love the system.

See my last post the downgrade does not back raising taxes it basically says the 2012 election may better the rating and it sure ain’t for Obama to win as the downgrade was given under his watch.
It’s OK. We’ve (as a national group) have the weapons and the firepower—and they know it. Libs and other enemies of both the Second Amendment and other inalienable rights, basically are p*ssies and will shirk from the fight—and even run from it—that may well be coming (as many of us have talked about and theorized here on FR for at least five years or so)....
