How "The Bad Part of Town" and failed social policies are used for sinister attacks on the right to keep and bear arms, and help justify the law enforcement world and its budgets.
While anti-rights activists speak emotionally about "gun violence""gun deaths" "human tragedy" and saving lives, what they refuse to say is this—
Homicide in America has demographic, geographic, social and economic factors which, if acknowledged and openly discussed, would transform the debate, and place blame where it really belongs: on the causes and people that fuel the violence we hear about (but rarely actually see for ourselves, except on TV "news").
The real blame is hidden, because the truth is so painful. Crime is not spread across the streets of America. Crime, and crime using guns, happens in isolated areas for well known reasons the media and politicians hide from you.
But, it's useful to blame guns instead of criminals, and blame guns instead of politicians and social policies, and blame guns instead of festering pesthole neighborhoods, in the effort to disarm the public and transfer power to the government and away from the people.

Serious question:
Why is it ALWAYS middle-aged white ladies who seem to think they have the answers for problems within BLACK communities?
Black men in their 20s, in their 30s, in their 40s kill each other. It’s been that way since the birth of Christ and I imagine it will continue until the end of time.

Here you’re talking about the US. Go to Johannesburg or any other country in Africa that is primarily Black with Black leadership and the problem still exists in almost the same proportions. There it’s a class warfare, same here. Undereducated idiots kill each other. So what?
We were shocked at the violence the Somalian immigrants. Why? They were fighting the same way they did back home. We brought these tribal animals into our society from Somalia. Us Whites want to pat ourselves on the back for being kind when we do something stupid like that. Now they are converting over to the Moslem faith and will end up killing our women. I never watched Archie Bunker but I did make a reason to watch that particular episode. Typical lib BS from the 1970s.
Did you notice the reference to the Supreme Court Miller decision showing that handguns were not protected but military rifles were? what a change since then by the MSM.
He makes his point but his maps a slightly skewed because Baltimore is only 30% white. It would be interesting to see an overlay of the racial makeup of the communities across Baltimore.
I did some analysis a few years ago, and showed that if you only take out the inner city gang crime in the top four or five cities in the country... then apart from that the U.S. has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

Serious answer: Because a previous generation of middle-aged, white communist liberal assh*les TAUGHT them that they should feel guilty for EVERYTHING that happens to minorities, because it’s almost NEVER the fault of the minority in question; it’s ALWAYS the slave-owning white man’s fault.

Read “Masters of Deceit” by J. Edgar Hoover. He talks about the communist infiltration into the minority communities and their efforts to foment strife and agitate.
They succeeded.
I think that it used to show the race and sex of the perps, which was pretty much the same. The vast majority of blacks are murdered by other blacks.
But the photo on your About Page is much more interesting.

I prefer Nikons and all of my family have them (In all types), it's one of my 'rules', but to each their own :-)
And I bought one of those Sigmas for my Nikon D3000 DSLR, the lens is fantastic. I use it more now than my Nikkor 55mm-200mm lens.
In case you don't know, the 18-55mm lens is equal to a 27mm to 82mm lens if on a std 35mm Film Camera. Or to the 'pro' DSLRs with the large sensor the size of 35mm film. But those cameras are $2K plus (and go UP from there). That's nuts when you can get a Quality 20"x30" Enlargement with the 'compact' DSLRs.
And the 70mm-300mm is equal to a 105mm-450mm Tele Zoom.
I’m actually now shooting with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, but I could still use an upgrade and some better lenses.
I was at one point in an online debate about violence in America with a European woman who was going on about the US homicide rate being due to the easy availability of guns. She slunked off after I showed data from the California Justice statistics web site (most states, plus the feds, lump Hispanic crime under white crime -- California is one of the few states that break Hispanic crime out). The white, non-Hispanic homicide rate was around the European average, with Hispanic rate several times higher, and black rate twenty times higher.
Homicide rates correlate closely with ethnicity and culture.
