The politicans voting yes lied to us. Allen West claimed to be a tea party leaning politician but lied. This was like Tarp all over. We had the house. All we needed to do was hold the line. Spending would of balanced. Now we are heading for QE3 and the depression can start as the interest increases.
I’m glad that you think a bill cutting 100 billion a year when the deficit is 1.7 trillion a year with tax raises in the future is a good idea. I can see why you live in californicatia.
What? You’re not going to vote for someone even if they have an “R” behind their name? Shame on you! sarc
We’re not going to “punish” anybody in 2012.
We are simply going to vote EVERY incumbent out... regardless.
We’re going to do the same in 2014...and 2016...and 2018.
They’ll get the idea, sooner or later.
WE just got rolled by the Biggest K street whores in decades named Mitchy and Bonehead and get a massive tax hike come in 6 months by a really fair committee !
It was all about keeping their K street buddies flushed in our unreal spending!
The Bush tax cuts are dead and Obama care taxes are heading our way !
Have ya noticed how getting rid of Obamacare is not a big deal for the GOP leaders anymore ??????
They need the massive tax increases .
One step at a time. The Tea Party congressmen tried very hard, but they are still a minority, even in the Republican party. Likewise, they are freshmen members, so to a great extent are ignorant of how the great machine works, which matters in a contest of complex rules.
To put it bluntly: they are green troops who have fought their first battle. They could not have won the war with this battle, nor could they have even won this battle, because they were hopelessly outnumbered.
Heck, even the Republican party as a whole was outnumbered, and could not have won this battle, only won a stalemate, which they did.
But both of them, the Republicans, and the Tea Party congressmen, fought well, and should be congratulated. And the Tea Party people should still have our support, and more, because they must not only hold their seats, but other Tea Party candidates must be added to their ranks.
They held their own. And maybe after 2012, with the Republicans capturing the US senate, and *some* Republican who is not a raging RINO becomes president, finally will be able to hold the Tea Party people’s feet to the fire and say, “Now is the time!”
So far tonight, this site has trashed EVERY conservative out there. West is right on both counts.
West, Ryan, Cantor and every other conservative is now a Rino according to this site. What a pathetic joke.
I know, only saint Sarah can save the world. Well, then she ought to get into the race.
“Why dont you drama queens take your rant elsewhere, Grover Nordquist and Darrel Issa both think it is good so I am going to listen to them, not a bunch of ranting foot stomping I am not gonna vote now sissies.”
I am a drone. I do not use my brain, logic or common sense. I listen to what “Republicans” tell me just because I have agreed with them in the past.
(in full monotone voice)
West cast a vote against the very military he claims to love. Everyday I see first hand how much we have declined just since 2008. The man is a disappointment.
I plan on not voting for The Honorable Sue Myrick.
“”I took out my 401k last month too.””
Did you really? Was the penalty horrendous? I’m sure the dems will thank you for your contribution to their “revenue.”
It’s frightening to think they are even “thinking” of rolling up the 401K’s into their goody bags but I think it’s wise to be prepared for anything and everything they can lob at us....
Here's a thought: Why don't you take your RINO ass kissing elsewhere? Or start your own Vanity for it?
I'll bet you get fewer takers than this thread.
I already did...registered as an Indie last week after nearly 40 years as a Republican. Scary, but it was liberating.
West is a coward period. This isn’t about trashing conservatives for a single vote.
This is about calling out cowards, posers and establishment hacks.
This wasn’t just any vote. This was vote to finally say NO to out of control spending.
These so-called conservatives voted to allow spending to increase by trillions even though we are already 14 trillion in debt. It’s that simple. You can try to spin it confuse the issue or turn into something “so complex us pions can’t understand” but the facts are the facts.
But I think we should concentrate on Boehner. He could have supported a bill to pay our military, the debt, and ss, but he didn't. He could have dared the Democrats not to support the bill. He waited to the last minute and threatened tea party members instead.
We need a new speaker and more tea party candidates.
Someone mentioned sending contributions to the ones who tried to hold the line. I am going to pick a few and support them.
Michelle Bachmann is looking good to me. She wasn't my first choice, but she is definitely moving up. At least we know where she stands on most issues and she has been consistent.
Republicrats and Democans . Been that way for years now . West has lost any credibility he had . Sellout .
THAT WILL SHOW ‘EM. You can even vote for Ron Paul in the next election. That will surely prevent an obummer second term.
There’s some holes in your post..........
And I don’t want to hear about his military service either!
Between West and McCain our military men and women are sure getting a bad name.
Sadly, you’re right about Allen West. I thought he was the real deal. I took up for him and gave him the benefit of the doubt before this, but he can’t be trusted anymore. I don’t want to hear anything else he has to say. It turns my stomach to even think about him.
Sometimes we get caught up in the rhetoric of these people and that’s what it was; just rhetoric. They are NOT “all that”. No one is beyond being replaced.
On the bright side. My Congressman is Tea Party. He voted NO. I let him know how much he’s appreciated for standing firm. As for the ones who voted for this horrible mess, they should all have primary challenges and be voted out in 2012.
