The politicans voting yes lied to us. Allen West claimed to be a tea party leaning politician but lied. This was like Tarp all over. We had the house. All we needed to do was hold the line. Spending would of balanced. Now we are heading for QE3 and the depression can start as the interest increases.

Well, gosh, if I had only known I could check my own brain in at the door and zombie my way to the ballot box with their recommendations in hand I could have saved myself a lot of brain damage doing my own thinking.
I changed my voter registration from Republican to “decline to state” back when George H W Bush started getting rolled by the Dems about taxes (and pretty much everything else). Would only consider becoming a Republican again to vote for Palin in the primary. Will re-dump my Repub registration if a RINO gets the nod.

OBAMMIE AND HIS COMMIES created this “crisis” to force another wedge in the GOP, to separate the true TEA party representatives from the GOP; to create ad campaigns in 2012 pointing to how the GOP supported the tax increases, how the TEA party betrayed the voters; and how, if it all fails before then, it was the GOPs fault for cutting spending and not giving the Dims more spending.
Can the GOP really be so blind as to not be able to see how this was all for POLITICAL ADVANTAGE??
They should have refused to the bitter end and forced the government to abide by the Constitution.

I’ve said all along that they don’t want to get rid of it before 2012. They want to use it as an issue in the election. They think we are stupid enough to believe they really tried to get rid of it but couldn’t do it because they need more Republicans.
West is out, done, finished. He will not get Republican support and a Demonrat will win his seat. Mark my words.
