The Live Thread says that Boehner is thrilled about how they “changed the terms of the debate” in Washington which is not good news.

With baseline budgeting raising spending by probably $5 Trillion over the 10 years, the cuts are MOOT AND FAKE!
Vote them all the hell out!

There is NO deal?
Not a single vote has been taken?
What kind of crappy reporting are we watching?
Hopefully this will go down in flames like every other halfbaked “deal”

I like the Philippines and Singapore for their all-around features and not having to learn Spanish. Almost everyone there speak at least some English. English is taught in their schools. Also they're very inexpensive compared to here, but both have an abundance of doctors, nurses, dentists, etc.

Is RINO a legitimate term anymore? Yes, it refers to someone who purports to be a Republican but does not support the party frequently enough. It is continually misused in this forum by people for whom semantics were an option when they learned English.

People need to get a grip on reality. As long as Obama and Reid control the presidency and the Senate, there is not going to be a solution to the long-term spending problem.

It will have the votes. Pelosi/Hoyer will ensure enough Dems vote for it, which will allow an increase in the number of GOP defectors without issue.
Plus, I’m just going to put this out here now. We all know a consensus on this other 1.8 trillion isnt coming by Thanksgiving. When it doesn’t happen, the Dems will blame GOP for both the mandatory cuts to Medicare and Defense. Since Boehner has already shown he is weak-kneeed, they’ll pass something in November to prevent these “mandatory” cuts from taking place when an agreement isn’t reached.

for many posters...they have already given up..’what’s the point “ they say..we lost. it will never get better, blah, blah.
Rush was right. conservatives still buy into a belief they are losers. and it sure gets heard here...”It’s hopeless”.
You are right...we got work to do...for those who want to not give up.

This is the lame-stream media attempting to control the narrative. They want to create an air of "it's all settled" so if any Tea Party House members try to thwart it, they are immediately branded as buzzkillers.
Bastards all.
