What is really sad is that there are a number of supposedly intelligent people with careers and wealth who think Obama is god. I know a few of them. They actually think that congress should be scrapped and that the president just take over as dictator. My fear is that they won’t realize what a terrible mistake they have made until calamity strikes them personally. God help us all.

this is a sample of “all adults, many of whom do not vote. Had it been likely voters, approval would probably be around 35%, as you typically get a more lefty result when you include people who aren’t regular voters.

This is an almost perfect match to Rasmussen's result for today: Daily Presidential Tracking Poll: "Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) at least somewhat disapprove."

The difference is that the 8% neutral opinions from Gallup split 50-50 between approve and disapprove. As for strong approval and disapproval, the effects of the budget standoff are obvious. Regardless of what the media report in their spin, the socialist in our White House is getting the blame he deserves.

The best news is that Obama hates America too much to do what it would take to reverse these numbers. As destructive as he is likely to be in the next 18 months, that's still better than him scaling back his socialist agenda enough to get re-elected.

It is a sobering thought, to be sure, that 2 out of 5 can still accept a man whose every action since his College days has demonstrated a corrosive hatred for the traditions of a people, whom he is now supposed to be leading!!

If the media were not so compromised by the Leftwing bias instilled in most journalism students in Academia, he would long since have been absolutely shredded. But we have to deal with this with an understanding of who is who in the "game," and the battle is still far, far from won.

Unfortunately, enthusiasm among the dead is undiminished. Early indications are that they are likely to turn out in record numbers next year. We need poll watchers, especially in urban precincts with large concentrations of dead voters.
