Spread-the-wealth-around Obama has already sucked and borrowed over $4 trillion out of the economy and burned it on the Altar of Marxism. And we have nothing to show for it. Obama = Epic Fail!
Now that the US is bankrupt and on the brink of default, he wants to borrow and burn another $4 trillion plus. Sorry, folks, this ain't going to cut it. We either cut the government NOW or the USA will fail.
Obama needs to be put on a tight leash. We don't need to raise the debt limit to avoid default. We don't need to allow Obama to continue his idiotic multi-trillion dollar spending spree. The congress should appropriate just enough to avoid default and that's IT!!
Social security, the payments to avoid default, and the military must be paid, but all other spending must be stopped or cut!! As far as that goes, even the defense budget must be cut! Cut the waste, cut the fat! End the wars and bring our troops home! Repeal ObamaCare!! We cannot afford it!! The government must be put on a pay as you go footing!!
Congress, do your JOB!!

Well with the exception of 22 of them they certainly failed miserably today. Very disheartening. I suppose we can give them a small, tiny, miniscule bit of slack given their poor excuse for a Speaker.
It is unfortunate but they are falling prey to the DC insiders' games. They undoubtedly voted for the Boehner plan to help keep egg of of the Speaker's face but by throwing aside their principles they made an even worst mistake. They should have passed strong bills every day for the last few weeks and let the Dems reject them. Instead they voted for this worthless piece of garbage that A does nothing to reduce the debt and B will probably be rejected in the Senate as well.
Tight leash is not how I would phrase it, but how I would phrase it would be deleted anyway...

• West Bank and Gaza: $665 million in bilateral economic, humanitarian, and security assistance for the West Bank and Gaza
• Jordan: $250 million, $250 million above the request, including $100 million for economic and $150 million for security assistance
• Egypt: $360 million, $310 million above the request, including $50 million for economic assistance, $50 million for border security, and $260 million for security assistance
• Pakistan: $1.9 billion, $591 million above the request
• Iraq: $968 million, $336 million above the request

You may not like it that the banker's son burnt down your home but the banker knows in the end you need to go back to him for another loan.
Worse case scenario (in Obama’s mind) the US economy will survive and there will be no default but he will still see that the republican’s plan be voted down so that he can come out with his secret plan of dismantling our military, nuclear weapons, raise taxes and be the hero of Liberalism.
Best case scenario (in Obama’s mind and what he really hopes will happen) the US defaults, the dollar crashes, unemployment goes through the roof, poverty sky-rockets, violence in the streets and all will tried to be blamed on the republicans. In the midst of all the chaos he will justify BIGGER government to take care of us all and maybe even a third or forth term as President.
All but 22 republicans in the house voted to allow a 8+ trillion increase in spending and debt over the next 10 years. Who is going to leash them?

You have a point BUT nobody in the GOP and past democratic administrations can compare to the dangers of Obama and today's democratic party. NOBODY.
Obama's making Bill Clinton look more like Ronald Reagan everyday... that's how dangerous this President is.
While I do not agree with Boehner and there is no excuse it is more likely that the republicans you speak of held their nose and voted for the 8+ trillion increase. There's a big difference between "ALLOW" as a compromise and a "passionate desire" for the 8+ trillion increase.
Don't need a leash if there are no cats roaming the streets now do we? Let's get rid of the fat cats and there will be no reason for a leash.

I’d like to see an honest itemized accounting. I strongly would guess that much of it has been embezzled and given as kickbacks. That is most likely why he is so interested in keeping the money coming any way he can.
Interesting that the Department of Labour has more than doubled their budget yet no jobs out there!!!
