Exactly!!!!!! Harry Reid was throwing McCain’s words back in his face this morning yet we have a smorgasbord of words from the marxist himself that we’re afraid to revisit.

If the Reps were smart they would do exactly that, i.e., a clean short term increase in the debt ceiling covering 6 to 8 months, take it or leave it. Let the Senate and Obama take the heat for not signing it. Obama wants to extend this thing past 2012. Why should we be giving him a $2.4 trillion limit increase on the current $14.3 trillion ceiling? When Obama took office, the debt was $10 trillion. So after four years we will have raised the ceiling to close to $17 trillion. Insane.
Definitely see your point...especially if you know that despite the “Big Wall Street Fat Cats” mantra the dims use all the time, their biggest donors and insiders in dim admins are from Goldman, AIG, etc. The revolving door there is just as bad as the “Mainstream Media”.

The GOP painted themselves into a corner, and are going to pay a steep price. Either raise the debt ceiling, and get blasted, or have Obama do it himself, and witness the end of the Republic and the beginning of the Empire.

This is the obvious solution now tha Boehner and McConnell have fubared this. We lost this battle when it became clear Republican leadership would not fight. Today we could have been pounding barry with new GDP numbers but instead we continue the circular firing squad of multiple GOP plans.
It seems many freepers want to storm obama beach right now with a troop of useless Congressional Reps who have no fight in them. Everything should be about getting barry out in 2012. Boehner’s continued bumbling is a gift from heaven to the dims. We just need to spotlight barry’s lack of leadership and his policy failures starting with a clean debt ceiling bill.
I suspect he will pay the generals. And to be honest, the military is so subverted now I doubt they will fight anyway.
This Country Defaulted Long Ago
The final collapse of our credit expansion boom approaches. We have a choice over the next week. We could voluntarily abandon further credit expansion by voting for a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution or we can raise the debt ceiling, pretend to cut spending far in the future, and allow our currency system to experience a catastrophic final collapse.
We’ll take what’s behind door #2 Johnny. The vested interests in Washington DC and Wall Street only care about power and wealth. They will never abandon credit expansion. It’s their drug. They must have it. They are addicted to it. They will keep injecting it into our system until they overdose America.
