Democratic Rep. David Wu may be opening the door to resigning before the end of his term in 2012, as party leaders call for an investigation into claims that the Oregon congressman had a forced sexual encounter with a young woman last year.

Well, if my guess is correct, that might be the least of Wu’s problems.
Some simple internet searching comes up with a few names of Wu’s rather limited list of campaign donors. Amoung those is John and Mary Tu. Tu founded and runs Kingston technologies, and is also one of the few true great philonthropists in the US. He may be a Democrat donor, but he is a guy in a white hat, he has made billions, and given a ton to charity. If my guess is correct... Wu assualted the daughter of a very wealthy and very good hearted man and his family.
Man, just when I didn’t think my opinion of Wu could get any lower.

More than ust sad. If true, it explains why Nancy and both Oregon Senators totally dumped Wu, kicked him straight to the curb. The Tu’s would not be people that the Democrats would want offended.
