n the latest chapter of the gunrunning scandal known as Operation Fast and Furious, federal officials won't say how two suspects obtained more than 360 weapons despite criminal records that should have prevented them from buying even one gun.
Under current federal law, people with felony convictions are not permitted to buy weapons, and those with felony arrests are typically flagged while the FBI conducts a thorough background check.
However, according to court records reviewed by Fox News, two of the 20 defendants indicted in the Fast and Furious investigation have felony convictions and criminal backgrounds that experts say, at the very least, should have delayed them buying a single firearm. Instead, the duo bought dozens of guns on multiple occasions while federal officials watched on closed-circuit cameras.

This will make Watergate look like jaywalking........................
“Cops make the best crooks”
But the media will continue to cover it as though it were as serious a crime as jaywalking.
Nah, just keep it going until a republican president and make it seem like his fault.
Reminds me of “Training Day”.
So.
Was Whitey Bulger an intermediary for Fast and Furious?
He crossed the border always armed into Mexico.
Obama is a hater, that hate just might bring this country down.
Screw the debt ceiling...if we want to take Obama down, THIS is our golden egg.
Looks like the Dept. of Just Us and maybe the White house itself might be giving these two idiots marching orders to obstruct Congress and hope for a Pardon from the POTUS.
....but that is just my observation.
I'm watching live on Congressional Overwatch Live stream
First tiny link about F & F. WOW....!
Does he also speak for Texas and Florida?
Drudge: Wakes up, wow...!! BUT CAN IT LAST...?
I sure hope so. His lack of interest in the past was very obvious. I couldn’t figure out why he ignored it.
Then he can simply watch this video:

I’m not a journo: I’m just some completely unremarkable schmuck. My full press credentials are simply that I’m not mentally retarded (though more and more it appears that would disqualify me from being a journo).
You know what is sad?
That even now with Drudge and Andy, this scandal is mostly still being ignored, save for the Sipsey Street Irregulars, an insane LA Times reporter, and a few people apparently committing career suicide over at CBS.
Lincoln said, “The best defense of democracy, even above all armies and navies, is a robust and free press...”
Hmmm:
I will tell you something about Japan, which I know well: all throughout the crazy 1930’s, and the run-up to Emperor worship and Imperial expansion and all that, the press in Japan was TECHNICALLY free —at few points did you have the government using *formal* legal techniques to imprison journalists and lock them away.
Instead, there was lots of informal guidance and lots of bureaucrat/journo chumminess which had the effect of inducing *SELF CENSORSHIP*.
Gradually there was a de-facto media cartel; the real news known to all journalists there simply went unreported. And this steady process or journalistic self censorship was extremely effective, as there were no “martyrs”. Journos were instilled with a feeling of STEWARDSHIP —a responsibility to actively cultivate and buttress The Establishment.
The shocking thing is that the system is mostly intact; the only time major scandals are broken in Japan is when foreigners or a sleazy magazine weekly akin to, “The National Enquirer” breaks it; only then is fresh oxygen blown onto a little spark of truth.
No “legitimate” publication can publish something damaging to a part of The System because the publication is ITSELF an integral part of the system, which is like a huge, rolling Katamari ball that agglomerates anything it touches and then inexorably rolls onward.
And I’m happy for the DrudgeReport and for BigGovernment, but this is an ENORMOUS scandal, and it’s not getting proper coverage.
Does anyone realize how effective F & F is as a diagnostic tool for answering questions regarding weather POTUS might try to induce emergencies, going forward...?
To us, sure, but how about to average Joe’s? I think not.
This feels just like the Monica Mess, which raged in total national isolation for 6 months or more and was debated only at Drudge, FR, and a few others places —AND NOWHERE ELSE.
For over six months, the feeling was like you were in Invasion of The Body Snatchers —the great share of society on the one hand had NO IDEA what you were so exercised about, while on the other hand you stood dumbfounded about how all others could be so placid.
That’s how F & F / Castaway feels right now.
Except, of course, when that robust and free press printed something ol' boy Lincoln did not like. Then, he seized their assets and shut 'em down. Obama is looking more and more like Lincoln every day.
ANYONE, have any confidence the real story will come out here?
Anyone have any confidence the culprets will go to prison?
None
