I agree but i think, or at least hope, Boehner realizes the position of CCB, the position voted for last November in mass numbers, gets stronger every day...

the thing i was praying for Boehner to do, he did- bring up the failed, unilateral obamacare and the failed stimuloss-
i wish he would’ve hit the stimuloss harder and remind everyone the clown in the WH who now wants a raise in the debt ceiling promised 8% unemployment for the $1trillion spent on the stimuloss...
The reporter Henry (last name) nailed Obama as going after the Independents with his overt use of “balanced approach” ad nauseum. Blasting Reid was the other ploy to attract Independents, to be seen rejecting his party as well as Republicans so that he is the center and the adult.
Time to start calling the lame duck a lame duck! We need a lame duck graphic!

Tea Party stands for corporate jet owners and keeping money away from poor student . ‘ Balanced approach’ = no tax cuts ! my wife follows politics in that she knows the liberals are destroying the nation and preventing jobs from being created (she’s a corporate recruiter thats been out of work six months)- she does not know names of politicians or is as frantic about politics as i am- while she believes in conservative values she knows how staunch her dad and i am towards conservatism and it is treason to think otherwise..
why do i tell you this?? she was in another room on the computer looking for a job, as she is 24/7, when Boehner was on the TV...she could only hear him- not see him...she asked- “who’s that, he’s great”....
here’s hoping the book reads like the cover we saw tonight...
MIKE LEE is coming up on HANNITY. Can’t wait for his response. I want to hear from DeMint, who remains bent on resurrecting Cut, Cap & Balance. Likely Lee would be one to lend a status report on that in lieu of DeMint.

Boehner’s rebut was well done. I certainly hope that the Speaker can stand tough....no compromise! Call O’s bluff!
If Obama throws it all out, he will only hurt his chances in 2012. I can think of hundreds of cuts they could make in redundant or obsolete Government departments. Also, Congress and the Senate, indeed all high paid government workers should take larage income and benefitcuts!

It's the same old speech with different words on a different day. The trouble for Obama is that the audience is indifferent to his socialist/democrat strategy, having been fleeced severely by the Stimulus, TARP and upcoming Obamacare, He's talking now to the 25% of voters (including blacks, media and Hollywood) who will definitely vote for him again.
If Obama throws it all out now he will become the “Do Nothing President.” He’ll be toast, because people out of work and such have him pegged. Higher taxes and no jobs.
Good for Boehner! Did great. The problem he will have from us and the new Republican caucas of Tea Party members is that dang “bipartisan-commission they want to rip it away from the full House to a compromise crowd. One more commission is not very comforting.

Yes, he did. Actually, CK has been voicing some real disgust for The One pretty often lately in his inimitable, articulate style. Maybe he’s having a rebirth - he even called out the host last week (of PBS’ Inside Washington where he’s a panelist) for bias regarding the Tea Party:

Charles sometimes disappoints me and I don’t always agree with him, but other times - man, he’s still great :-)
The “president” (the non-capitalized form of the word is used on purpose) decries what the Tea Party is doing. Meanwhile he reminds us that we are to “eat our peas.” Yet he, dillying and dallying, will not eat the peas that must be swallowed to make our country solvent.
In other words, he is quite tardy on “eating the peas.” I frankly prefer the “Tea Party” individuals in congress and in our neighborhoods than I do the “Pea Tardy” President. Hang in there, John Boehner.
I opted to clean the cat box during his speech - the lesser of two evils.
