I like the 6 months from now approach. A real gotcha! How about the other 6 months? Boehner said they have been negotiating since January and now BO wants to be “serious”. I think anyone with common sense realized the importance of that remark(s). OBAMA/OSAMA will be -25 in Polls tomorrow!
Why does the niggling little thought Martial Law ring in at this point? How much can the American people take without going to arms? I think Obama is drawing a line in the sand.

The MSM coverage of politics is one big constant pro Obama advertisement! This alone makes it very difficult to convince the sheeple what is the truth.

Every Pubbie who gets on the TV news or radio should start off by saying how irresponsible this Administration is for constantly talking about “default” when he knows very well that we have enough money each month to service the debt, and pay all major entitlements.
Martial Law
We are at the point I’ve been hoping for since Day 1, when Obama loses it before the American people and his weak, sniveling self is plain for all to see.
Tonight Obama looked small, shrunken and weak. He’s not coming from a position of strength, nor does he have the loyal cadre that could inforce martial law. He’s the guy who throws a fit in the gay bar and beats up everyone with his purse before breaking into tears.
It does concern me that with the way he is using our military, especially in Libya, that they will become an army of thugs killing for the fun of it, and would as easily turn on us....We’ve got to defeat, and rid ourselves of this evil man.
It’s time for our nation to admit we cannot save the day on our own, but call on God to have mercy on us.
Don't be so sure that "everyone" gets it. There are roughly 25% in this country who would applaud Obama for being brilliant! if he read verbatim from the phone book. They only know that he pushed all of the right Pavlovian buttons on them tonight.
Not even all conservatives get it. I've got conservative email buddies who are so uninformed, it would blow your mind. I sometimes email them old, well-worn subject matter from FR, and they shower me with accolades for being "such an incredible news sleuth!" Huh?
I do hope that many of those in the political middle who voted for this monster, are now so horrified at their stupidity, that they're paying closer attention than they've ever done. Those that are, are certainly getting it.

WEST CHESTER, Ohio — Tea party activists in U.S. House Speaker John Boehner’s home area of southwest Ohio rallied Monday to offer him encouragement amid the debt crisis negotiations.
A couple of hundred supporters, some waving signs such as “Hold firm, John” and “Honk to cut spending,” gathered at a suburban strip mall next to the Republican’s district office in West Chester Township.
They said they wanted to show support for Boehner’s tough position in the showdown in Washington, where congressional leaders are working to find agreement on a deficit reduction plan with an Aug. 2 default deadline looming.
A binder with hundreds of letters of support was given to a Boehner representative
Ernie Filippini of West Chester rode up on his motorcycle to contribute a letter to Boehner.

DeMint just nailed it on Greta. Do not get taken on by the tennis match of cuts vs taxes. Reid’s plan and Boehner’s plan both INCREASE THE DEFICIT by 7-8 TRILLION dollars over the next 10 years. Why aren’t we insisting on a Balanced Budhet?

We Americans need to take a breath and look at what we are facing here. DeMint on Greta does think we are getting in trouble and this man deserves a hearing. He does not believe we can can move debt along with MORE borrowing with 10 year path for cuts, but if the phones go silent and we accept this stuff then we risk losing our gains.
The committee thing should be a non-starter with all conservatives, as in my opinion, it shuts out those we just put in office in the mid-terms!
CCB is the only real solution, and everyone needs to burn up the phones to insist on bringing it off the table, have a real debate with cards on the table for Americans to see, and take a vote.
If people do not insist on BBA now, within 2 years we will default anyway, and the rating agencies will probably down grade us shortly.
