Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said Sunday that he did not initially think lawmakers would bring the debt-ceiling negotiations "this close to the edge," appearing taken aback by the lingering distance between the two sides with an Aug. 2 deadline looming.

USE OBAMA’S OWN WORDS AGAINST HIM, then go public using those EXACT WORDS, like Obama did with the Failed disaster of “Stimulus”
I heard Geithner on Fox this morning. What a moron! This is the smartest guy in the world who we had to accept as Treas. Secy despite his tax fraud? This whole administration is a ship of fools and cheats.
Here’s an even better revelation: I never thought I would live to see a tax cheat head the IRS either....... =.=
We want to avoid default so we won’t accept a deal that avoids default.

Every time I hear something Geithner has said, I think “this from a guy that thinks paying taxes is optional.”

Just watched it. Geithner is total clown shoes.
He can try moving that deadline back, but eventually it won't be up to him as to what that deadline is. Just like me, having to pick and choose which bills get paid this month and which ones have to wait ....it will catch-up and eventually the lights, water, and gas go out because the deadline this time is the utility company.
The Dems want to give their messiah, Obama, a BLNK CHECK....just like they did when they had the House!!!! That’s why we are in such debt.
Maybe next election cycle we should elect a committee to represent us instead of the pack of morons we have now.
This story illustrates how far out of touch reality the Obama Administration really is.
Were they really thinking that the Congress and American People would simply roll over and accept their spending bridge to Socialism?
