Tea Party conservatives hope to make a push on the House floor to force President Obama to avoid a national default if Congress fails to raise the debt limit.
Members of the Senate Tea Party Caucus have met with House freshmen to discuss a plan to pressure House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to bring the Full Faith and Credit Act to the floor.
The legislation would direct Obama to prioritize federal payments to the nation’s creditors, Social Security recipients and soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The bill has been revised since it was introduced earlier this year. The previous version simply required the Treasury Department to pay the principal and interest on the debt held by the public over other obligations incurred by the federal government.

Then publicize their decisions over and over so those NOT getting paid who IS getting paid as Barry’s priority

As per usual, the devil is always in the details. If Buckwheat deliberately witholds payment from service members in the rest of the world (excepting those in Iraq and Afghanistan) it's going to get REAL interesting. I dare him.
The checks will go out regardless. Agencies will be cut and then paid retroactively. Interest on our debt will rise. Like it matters to this socialist asshat anyway.

Military retirees pay arrive to the banks/credit unions 4-5 days prior to the 1st of the month.
Some banks/cc’s post the amount that is pending 4 days ahead of time to let you know the money is there. The pay is posted on the 1st of the month, earlier if the 1st is on a weekend or holiday.
Retiree pay arrives prior to 2 Aug, I do not know when veterans disability checks are deposited.

The government is collecting taxes, specifically collected for SS. They best pay it back.
The article says that the bill would ensure payment of military salaries... payment of salaries to military overseas only... and payment of salaries to military in Afghanistan and Pakistan only.
Which is it?!? Geez, talk about shoddy reporting.
That might be a great bill, if it contains no trash like spending for other depts. or regulations in it.
