Windows blown out in PM's office
When I first heard this breaking news I shrugged. Norway?
But looking at the first images coming across on Fox....it looks as bad as the mess at the World Trade Center!
This was no accident, dear Lord.
Still, Norway? If I had to pick one country least likely to be affected by terrorism it would be Norway.
No kidding. Those nasty Amish are awful. lol. This is now the main story of the day and will take up the entire news for the rest of the weekend most likely. I bet those politicians are spared again no matter what they pass. Americans will focus on Oslo and not the debt problem........I seriously believe this will happen. We Conservatives never get a break. Of course prayers to Oslo Norway and people who may be hurt or worse.
FOX News reported it at least 20 minutes ago. It’s just not on their site yet
Who the hell was the reporter who looked at that building and sent in a report of “some broken windows”? This was a BIG bomb.
BTW, that seems to be an entirely different building than the two seen in the photo from an earlier post.
lol. I seriously cracked up from that post.
Norway and Sweden have both been high tension areas of Muslim activity. I would guess the first serious crack down on Islam by a European country will be in Malmo, Sweden.
You are so right. As horrible as CNN is, I really like their breaking news segments. They are first rate with breaking news. Too bad they stink the rest of the time.
“This was a BIG bomb.”
And apparently inside. Imagine the size to get windows on multiple floors!
Maybe a bangelore in an elevator shaft? That would get multiple floors.
I hope the initial reports of few injuries are correct. If the building was fully populated the death/injury toll will be large.
Looks like a car bomb or somesuch has gone off.

VG. The newspaper across from the government building is reporting that they are seeing several dead on the upper floors of the building.
Casualties including fatal ones are now starting to arrive at the city hospitals.
The positive thing is that it was 30 minutes after closing time that the bomb went off, and it is in the middle of our vacation period as well, so there will have been fewer workers there than normal.
Your comparison is beyond ridiculous! And to think, I used to have respect for you and your opinions...
SLAVERY, TERRORISM and ISLAM
The following is a description (slightly modified) from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat. Link
As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. In fact, they may be featured in articles and films, stereotyped for their colorful uniqueness.
At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs [Europe, Australia, USA and Japan]. Six percent of US prison inmates are Muslim. Like any other minority, they wont integrate, but work to build their own separate community.
From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. South Africa’s Muslim population is 2%, but they control 35% of the businesses, a large percentage of the banks and have five Cabinet seats while Christians (77% of the population) have none.
They will push for the introduction of halaal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves (along with threats for failure to comply).
At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia; Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world, but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. (Ei: car-burnings in France last October.) Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats.
After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning (India, Mindanao, Philippines).
At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare [Indonesia].
From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya (infidel tax). (Sudan, Kosovo, Lebanon and Egypt).
After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide [Western Papua (New Guinea), Iran, Biafra, Turkey and North Nigeria].
100% will usher in the peace of “Dar-es-Salaam” - House
Thanks. How utterly horrid.
Was the device inside?
Truck bomb. No doubt they were hoping for a McVeigh-style collapse, but the bomb wasn’t big enough, or the truck close enough to the building.
A few words says it all..."The Serbs Tried to Warn the Western European snobs.."!!!!
Yeah, I was reading upthread about some recent crackdown of a Muslim cleric.
It will be interesting to see Norway's reaction to this. Nevermind the infamous Vikings, Norway, or any European country for that matter, is not known for it's strength and bravery. Will it back down to what appears to be some kind of terrorist attack because I simply do not believe this is some kind of accident.
Someday the world will get wise to this nutty Muslim determination to control the planet. Meanwhile, oil money and political correctness keep us quiet and without strength to fight back.
No idea.
They haven’t even confirmed that it was a bomb, though the police is referring to a bombing.
Some horrid reports coming in. One woman lying in the street with her legs blown off...
