Jobless claims rise above expectations

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 10,000 to a seasonally adjusted 418,000, the Labor Department said.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims rising to 410,000. The prior week's figure was revised up to 408,000 from the previously reported 405,000.

But notice in the MSM(including Fox) they were all a twitter about how Obama in phony polls is still at 45% approval this AM. We are living in Soviet Russia. Have you ever hit exactly on the mark with your weekly estimate? It's either either higher than expected or lower--rarely right on the nose ("as expected"). During W, it was also "unexpected"...but the key difference is that now, the unexpecteds are usually in one direction--that they were optimistic.
