New Al Qaeda Magazine: Bin Laden 'Confronted' SEALs in 'Fierce Battle'
By LEE FERRAN July 19, 2011
A new edition of Al Qaeda's official magazine claims that Osama bin Laden fought back in a "vicious battle" with the U.S. Navy SEALs before his death in May.
"He confronted them, his weapons against theirs with his, and his strength against theirs, and he accepted the challenge of those who came out with their fancy equipment, machinery, weapons, aircrafts and troops, all haughty and pompous," the magazine, Inspire, said in a eulogy for the al Qaeda leader. "His determination did not weaken in front of them, nor was he sapped of strength. Rather, he stood and confronted them face to face like a firm mountain, and continued to engage them in a fierce battle... after which he excused himself and fulfilled the trust, receiving bullets of treachery and infidelity."
The account, which is attributed to the al Qaeda organization, appears to contradict the White House version of events in which bin Laden did "resist" the SEALs, but was unarmed when he was killed.
The sixth issue of the English-language magazine features bin Laden on its cover with the words "Sadness, Contentment & Aspiration," is the first to discuss bin Laden's death. After noting the succession of al Qaeda leadership to Ayman al-Zawahiri and giving a "special thanks" to the Pakistani Taliban for a revenge attack in Pakistan for bin Laden's death, the magazine goes on to encourage individual acts of jihad against the West.

700 years from now, in the NLQ (the New Living Quran), this story will be told to billions of Muslims around the world...plus the fact that he ascended into Heaven from the Vatican.
Yeah, a battle to hold the contents of his bowels... then a failure of his skull to hold his brain matter.

Latest al-Qaida Magazine Touts Gains and Losses
IPT News
July 19, 2011
SNIPPET: Victories on the battlefield and fresh martyrs underline al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsulas [AQAP] territorial gains, according to the latest issue of its English-language Inspire magazine. Its cover story is called Sadness, Contentment, and Aspiration.
SNIPPET: The magazine addresses Osama bin Ladens death with both lamentations on the loss of a great leader and congratulations for his achieving the goal of martyrdom. But it pledges that his death will have little effect on the future of the organization.
The news brought us a mixed sentiment of sadness, contentment and aspiration, wrote American jihadist Samir Khan, in the magazines cover article.
Sadness because we lost one of the greatest Islamic revolutionaries - if not, the greatest revolutionary - in modern times. Contentment because we knew that he achieved what Prophet Muhammad always yearned for: shahada[martyrdom]. Aspiration because we remembered our Prophets guarantee that jihad will resume till Judgment Day.
His death is also just one in a chain of leaders al-Qaida has lost, Khan wrote.
Living in the States never made me think twice about the path I was undertaking, although many of the mujahidin leaders were killed such as Abu Layth al-Libi, Abu Khabbab al-Masri, Mullah Dadullah, Abu Musab az-Zarqawi and others. For me and all of those who follow the path correctly, jihad is not for the sake of these commanders and leaders; rather its for the sake of Allah.

He’s still fish food.
Sounds like our ... edited... oh you know who.
No I think it means we have to get rid of our exotic machinery and get back to a “level playing field”.
As the kids today would say, “cool story bro”.
